McCain-PalinAs you are all aware, Senator John McCain, "the boring old white dude", announced his running mate today - "The Hottest Governor in America", Sarah Palin. A surprising choice ... not because she isn't widely known, but because it was an aggressive, offensive move.  Barack Obama was a young, unknown just a year ago too, so he made a safe, defensive pick in a running mate, by choosing Senator Joe Biden, a man with a long career in Washington.

John McCain proved to be the candidate who's not afraid of a strong woman. In his own ...

"I think he can be ready, but right now I don't believe he is.  The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training." - Joe Biden(D), August 2007

barackhusseinobama Barack Obama, Are You Experienced?

Is Obama ready?  Does he have the experience to handle the job of President of the United States of America - the most powerful man in the world?

Well ... in 1985, the Woods Fund, provided a grant of $25,000 to the Developing Communities Project (DCP) to hire Barack Obama as an "organizer". The Woods Fund was founded by the Woods family, the ...

free speech is dead Obama: The Inconvenience of SpeechOn August 13, 2008 I wrote a post about Nancy Pelosi's push to silence political dissent on radio, which would ultimately silence bloggers as well. So it's no surprise that Barack Hussein Obama hates free speech too.

Obama's campaign has sent a letter to the Department of Justice demanding a criminal investigation into the American Issues Project for an ad they are running ...

This article is not meant to be a full dissertation on each individual topic, but simply a list to provoke thought.

Six things conservatives get wrong, and consequently advance Leftism.

1.  Big Government is Big Government.
As Thomas Jefferson acutely noted, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground".
Virtue plays an important role in both society and human development, but can it, or should it be legislated?  My answer is that unless something causes you harm, it does not pertain to law.

Let's look at internet gambling as an example.  There may be a moral case against gambling, and yes, it can certainly be destructive to the individual engaging in it, but does that give you the right to use government force against it?
The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has turned ordinary adults into criminals while setting a precedent that can easily extend into censorship of religious and political topics as well. Also, it has turned banks and internet providers into quasi-government institutions by requiring internet providers to identify gamblers, and for banks to block all transactions with gambling websites.
You may be against gambling, so then don't gamble.  When you start telling others how to act, it can (and most likely will) come back to haunt you.

Obama's State of TyrannyBarack Obama wants change alright ... REAL change.  In fact, he wants a completely different America.  Not one powered by the people as our founders intended, but a "new" America, powered by the state.

"I won't just ask for your vote as a candidate -- I will ask for your service and your active citizenship when I am president of the United States," Obama said.

"This will not be a call issued in one speech or one program -- this will be a central cause of my presidency," he said. "We will ask Americans to serve. We will create new opportunities for Americans to serve. And we will direct that service to our most pressing national challenges."

obamaforward8 BARACK OBAMA – THE LOST BOYAs it is well known in the lexicon of the literate, a lost boy is a man who won't or can't grow up - that is, become a full-fledged adult. This is commonly referred to by women (who are usually advised to avoid this type of man as a potential husband) as the "Peter Pan Syndrome," for obvious reasons. I submit that it is probably wise for a marriage-age woman to look elsewhere for a mate, or she may end up being the only adult in the relationship. It is probably also not a good idea ...

Please take 18 minutes and watch Yochai Benkler, author of "The Wealth of Networks," talk about what he sees developing in economics due to new technologies such as the internet.

The world is changing ... Hanging on to the beliefs of yesterday, will not only cause greater struggles for you, but for your children and grandchildren too.  My belief, is that not only are the corporations of today going to face rapid change, but that they aren't the "good jobs" of tomorrow either (as witnessed by almost daily mass layoffs).  Open source is changing the world, bringing greater productivity to each individual, but more importantly, greater freedom as well.

You don't need to see eye to eye ...

No More WordsWith the increased popularity of talk radio over the past two decades, and the rise of the internet blog ... Big Media's control over news content has been in a consistent decline.

Almost daily, you can read about the massive financial losses these companies are taking (and their unwillingness to adapt with the times too).  But it isn't only Big Media that's taking a hit.  Big Politics is taking a big hit too!

The Founding Fathers of our nation understood in great detail the dangers of a powerful, controlling government.  They set forth a Constitution of LIMITED government powers, and a ...
