The Lost Art of Free Speech: Blogger Beware!

The Constitution of the United States of America
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

James Madison
Of course, there's an endless list of constitutional violations by the government.  Would you like to know why?

Because most Americans, even politically active Americans, just throw their hands up in the air, maybe complain ... but basically just waive the white flag of surrender when it comes to government ...

In Honor of Che Guevara

Things in America keep getting stranger by the minute ...

New York, NY: Take a walk through Central Park, and head on over to 5th Avenue and 60th Street while you're there.  This way, you can stop to admire the statue of the "revolutionary" t-shirt king, Che Guevara.

Yes! That Che Guevara, the man who is honored on many walls throughout the United States, inside the campaign offices of none other than "the One," Barack Obama, President of the United States of America - elect.

They've even kept the ...

Defenders of the Flight 93 memorial repeatedly insist that the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent HAS to be a coincidence. It is completely determined, they insist, by the landform, the path of Flight 93, and the impact point, leaving no room for intent to enter.

Of course it is crazy to think that, so long as it is just an unfortunate coincidence, there is nothing wrong with planting a giant Mecca-oriented crescent (the central feature of a mosque) on the graves of our murdered heroes. About as crazy, actually, as thinking that the Mecca-orientation of the giant crescent could really be a coincidence. First architect Paul Murdoch just innocently ...

In Defense of Labor Unions

UAW MembersLabor unions, in and of themselves, are not a violation free markets.  In fact, labor unions can provide great benefit to the economy as a whole, thus improving the economic life of all Americans!

Labor unions are also an act of exercising freedom! All individuals have an inalienable right to associate with each other, and to coordinate in an effort to achieve legal, legitimate objectives.

Looking back to the late 19th century, the American economy was rapidly turning from one of agriculture to one built on industry. The size of businesses grew at an incredibly rapid rate, giving ...

Nevermind the Bollocks Here’s the Jetson’s!

Amazing! Without a parachute or even a safety net, Eric Scott strapped an 800 horsepower jet pack to his back and flew across the 1,500 foot wide Royal Gorge in Colorado. Scott reached 75 mph, successfully completing the flight over the 1,053 foot deep gorge in only 21 seconds.

The jet pack shoots hydrogen peroxide, pressurized to 600 pounds, across a silver plate, where it loses an oxygen molecule, leaving only water. This process produces heat of 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit which creates the supersonic pressure that pushes the pilot into the sky....

The war against radical Islam is serious.  Too many people today choose to ignore this fact. Whether it's blatant or merely a by-product of our politically-correct society, I don't know. But this flippant attitude is allowing the Islamic tyrants to win.  Why do I say this?  Because this war is much more than a military battle, it's an ideological fight for all the freedoms we we hold dear.

What's happening can best be described as Fabian Jihad, a slow, carefully plotted creeping of sharia law into society.  All over the globe, advanced western cultures are slowly being overtaken by radical Islam.  France and their culture is close to being lost to the Islamists! Through immigration ...

It’s Time for Some Oil Speculation!

About a week ago, when I had just filled up my tank at $1.75 per gallon, I was talking with a friend of mine and we were laughing because we wanted to know where all the grandstanding and hyperbole about "the speculators" had gone.

Why do we find this so funny?  Because it wasn't that long ago (just a few months) that the Has-been Media (MSM) reported on it every 3 minutes and anyone in politics (see here and here) were "gonna do something" about THOSE speculators and all THAT speculating!

What happened?  Why all the sudden silence on such an important "issue?"

No "windfall ...

The Fun Begins with Michigan

Prior to 2006, when the presidential election started (way to early), pretty much nobody had ever heard of Barack Obama. But things have "changed," because this coming January, he will be sworn-in as the President of the United States.  How did this happen?  This is a question many have asked, but while the mainstream pundits have had a difficult time providing an adequate answer, it's been right in front of them all along.  This is how the Alinsky method works - quietly, in the background, where nobody is looking ...

Colorado, once a strong, reliable "Red State," who has favored the Republican presidential candidate in 10 of the last 12 elections, turned decidedly ...
