Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Of course, there's an endless list of constitutional violations by the government. Would you like to know why?
Because most Americans, even politically active Americans, just throw their hands up in the air, maybe complain ... but basically just waive the white flag of surrender when it comes to government ...
