There's been a lot of chit-chat revolving around Gov. Bobby Jindal's response to President Barack Obama's speech the other night, with almost all of it based on the assumption that he "bombed."

Sure, the speech wasn't great ... but let's be real!  One canned speech, in a quiet room, speaking only to a camera ... that isn't enough for "we the people" to make a decision regarding his potential.  We don't want to elect people based on their speech-giving skills, do we?

He did get it right when he said the so-called "stimulus" is designed to:

... grow the government, increase our taxes down the line, and saddle our children with debt.

For two years, Tom Burnett Sr. has been speaking out against the crescent-shaped memorial to Flight 93. This week Beverly Burnett (mother of Flight 93 hero Tom Burnett Jr.) stepped into the public eye to support her husband, and to make her own appeal for a full investigation:

Today, I am adding my voice for a full and transparent review of the National Park Service and Flight 93 design selection process that produced Crescent of Embrace. Does it have Islamic symbols or doesn’t it? Let's settle this once and for all.

Why do you think Tom Sr. opposed this design? It is pretty simple; Tom Sr. saw the

In a story too politically-incorrect for the MSM, Muzzamil Hassan, the "founder of a television network called Bridges TV, whose purpose it was to portray Muslims in a positive light," beheaded his wife in Buffalo, NY.  Marcia Pappas, President of NOW-New York State, immediately sent out a press release stating:

And why is this horrendous story not all over the news? Is a Muslim woman's life not worth a five-minute report? This was, apparently, a terroristic version of "honor killing," a murder rooted in cultural notions about women's subordination to men. Are we now so respectful of the Muslim's religion that we soft-peddle atrocities committed in its name?...What is this deafening silence?

Unfortunately, the rest of the feminist brigade doesn't share Pappas' outrage.  In fact, they're attempting to obfuscate the story by reducing it to just a typical case of domestic violence.

What? You mean ... the conspiracies are real?  Not exactly ...

Among the mistakes made by conspiracy theorists is that they exaggerate things, way out of proportion, then insist history can be viewed only through the lens of the given narrative.  In my opinion though, the most fundamental flaw in these stories is what can be best described as a hallucinatory concept of power.

Basically, they all boil down to a handful uber-wealthy international banker types (the Rockefeller and Rothschild families), secretly controlling everything in the world, including U.S. Presidents.  The problem with this belief, in Lord Acton's famous words, is that:

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Despite the Republican Party going "Hog-Wild Big Government" over the last couple decades, securely deleting every last byte of logic and reason for a conservative (of any stripe) to justify continued support ...  I believe Michael Steele, the man, deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Don't get me wrong here.  Things are not OK.  But "we the people" must continue forward, just exercising extreme caution as we do.

For example, many people were (are) convinced that Karl Rove was (is) some kind of "political genius," who took the lead to create a permanent conservative majority.  Sounds great! But back in the real world ... the "Story of Rove" tells a totally different tale.

The true "Story of Rove" ... is a tale of Karl Rove being leader of a coup, that successfully seized the leadership of the party away from the leadership of Goldwater/Reagan conservatives, and putting it back in the hands of Northeastern/Rockefeller Big Government Aristocrats.

Getting back to Steele ... as reported by The Washington Post, he had the following to say regarding the old GOP guard and their ways:

1) Considering all of the disastrous news storming out of Washington these days - thank you Democrats and Obama's (less-than-a month-old) Alinskyite Administration! Hey, it's completely understandable that one can lose hope, want to hide under the blankets, and hope to wish the monster away.

And as much as I'd like to curl up in the fetal position and start sucking my thumb too, I must say to you with great courage and confidence - Fear not! "We the people" have not only started smelling the coffee, but we've started brewing the tea!

2) And that's not all! Increasing numbers of "we the people," are participating in anti-Obama rally's and protests in revolt of the totalitarian regime!

3) An Open Letter to Republicans.

Are you as fed up as I am with the old "political game?" Would you like real, genuine change in Washington?

Then let's cut through the crap, and demand the Republican Party step up to the plate and define its core beliefs - the sooner the better! And I'm not talking about some stupid protest, making DEMANDS like the "progressives" do.  I'm talking about pulling any and all support - money, time, votes, etc. - from politicians who don't represent us, and redirecting it to one's that will.

Now is the time, and we genuine conservative constituents need to act accordingly.  We don't have any more time left to wait.
