Quite frankly ... we need to face reality here ... it's more fun to be a "progressive," because there's so many more things to do!

The (not so) funny thing though ... is that there's tons of opportunity to get involved - Right Now! - as a conservative and/or libertarian!

President Obama is bringing us together alright ... just in a different way than he probably imagined.  And it's exciting!

What? Bringing us together? What are you talking about?

Well ... President Obama and the Democratic Congress' dictatorial style is reuniting genuine conservatives, by reigniting their passion for limited government!

Last October, I wrote about the passing of Oklahoma's House Joint Resolution 1089, in which the State of Oklahoma reasserted it's 10th Amendment rights in an effort to recover their state sovereignty.  In the same post, I also noted Vermont is moving in the same direction.  As the Washington Post said:

The winds of secession are blowing in the Green Mountain State.

Good news! Because this was only the beginning.  The movement is heating up!

I've been conjuring up some ideas for a series on capital theory, and the name "it takes money to make money" just seemed like the obvious (and appropriate) title.  Yes, capital encompasses more than just money, but "it takes money to make money" is an old saying that everybody understands.

To sum up capital theory in as few words as possible, the best way I'd put it is - "savings drives an economy, not spending." Like I said, "it takes money to make money."

What? That's not what all the talking heads on TV and our favorite politicians are telling us!  CL, you're nuts!

Maybe, but that's a topic for another time ...

Anyways ... before digging into this subject, let's watch the television talking heads back in 2006, with famous economist Arthur Laffer on their side, discussing the economy in general, and why there was NO WAY POSSIBLE A RECESSION COULD HIT THE U.S. OF A.!

Yes, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) believes that every month that goes by without passing the Democrats porkulus, er, I mean, stimulus bill ... 500 million Americans lose their jobs!

Maybe Nancy's never taken a math class, I don't know ... the answer could be that innocent.  But my bet is that she's just a bald-faced liar. You be the judge.

At first, I was going to ignore this issue, but since it's been all over the press, I decided that now was a good time to bring up the subject of marijuana.

Last night, I accidentally caught a portion of the Sean Hannity show.  The few minutes I watched was a good reminder of why I normally avoid him like the plague.  The guy's an over-rated blow-hard, who gives true conservatism a bad name.

Anyways ... as I was flipping channels, I watched a segment of Sean Hannity because they were talking about Michael Phelps and the scandal over his smoking pot at a party.

Big frickin' deal! I mean ... who's life is so drab that they even concern themselves with this?

Starting on a positive note, please take a few minutes to get to know America's future.  She's already got my vote!!!
