Out of the many running themes concerning "the fall of conservatism" and the subsequent rise of extreme-left Progressives, is that conservatives need to "fix their culture problems."

In essence I agree, however, I think it's important to note that it was "The Republican Party," not conservatism, that failed.

In my opinion, most Republicans (and others claiming to represent the conservative movement) these days, for the most part, have turned into caricatures of the stereo-types assigned them by the Left and Leftist-media - straight-laced, uptight, rules-based, dull and boring ... in other words, the status quo.

Yet contrary to popular wisdom (even on the Right), conservatism was originally an opposition movement, born of resistance to the Leviathan's increasing growth during the early 20th century.  It was conservatives, not the Left-wing, who led the fight against the "Establishment!"

In fact, the term "Establishment" was coined by conservative thinker Frank S. Meyer, as a critical label for Big Government, the "political class," and the "power elite." Hostility to the "Establishment" indeed, was the lifeblood of the conservative movement!

It was the conservative's who fought against prohibition, President Hoover, and New Deal statism at home.  In the 1930's, their fight extended to opposition of American global interventionism abroad!

The roots of the conservative movement, the Right-wing, are libertarian, anti-state, and radical! The exact opposite of the traditional and statist apologists they've become.

So ... if conservatives really want to "fix their culture problems," I suggest they start by first remembering who they are!

The following 3 videos from illuminatitv, are not only more creative and informative than anything we've seen in a long time from the conservative movement, but they tap into the anti-Establishment roots of the conservative movement too!
