WARNING: The following story is Very Scary.
A peasant had guns. Scary, I know. But don't you worry ... the State took them away!
Man was Prepping for Armageddon
A Manchester-by-the-Sea technology consultant was arrested last night after Boston ATF agents tipped off cops that he may have cobbled together a grenade-like device and was preparing for the end of the world, police said.
Gregory D. Girard, 45, was held for a dangerousness hearing yesterday after he pleaded not guilty to possession of an infernal machine in Salem District Court, town police chief Glenn McKiel said.
McKiel said cops discovered a homemade hand grenade attached to a teargas canister. He said cops also found several lawfully purchased weapons that they are examining for illegal modifications, as well as what he described as armor-piercing bullets.
McKiel said Girard also had constructed a gun range in his condo’s attic to test the weapons.
“It was a 25- to 30-foot run with steel plates and some ballistic backing,” he said. “He did indicate that he was preparing for Armageddon.”
Gasp! Guns are, after all, Very Scary.
Since he hadn't committed a crime (infringed the rights of others), it's a good thing our Betters at the Office of Pre-Crime were there to save the day!
I'm convinced that if Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he'd be labelled a terrorist threat, deemed a non-person, and thrown into indefinite detention as a threat to the State!
Can one logically argue otherwise? After all, Jefferson was a radical!
What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. - Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787.
The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves in all cases to which they think themselves competent..., or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed ... - Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824.
Very Scary.
Now of course, it was Girard's wife (with whom he has a troubled relationship, they do not live together) who turned him in!
As a "psychologist," she claimed he was "mentally unbalanced." Yeah ... I'm sure she gave an honest assessment (and monkey's are gonna fly out of my butt).
Paramilitary Thugs Steal Private Arms Collection
Since it is unacceptable for people to believe that government agents will carry out paramilitary raids to confiscate firearms, a paramilitary force was sent to Girard’s home to confiscate his firearms.
Those weapons are now “safely” in the hands of the most dangerous criminal element in any society — the people who pull triggers and commit other acts of violence on behalf of the political class.
In the hands of the armed servants of the tax-feeding class, tear gas, pepper spray, and batons are considered “less-than-lethal” weaponry. But Girard, as a mere Mundane, isn’t permitted to own tear gas grenades and pepper ball rounds; accordingly, he was charged with four counts of possessing “an infernal device” and four counts of possessing a “dangerous weapon.”
Remember, guns in the hands of tax-eaters = safe. Guns in your hands however, a mere peasant, are dangerous!

[...] Why do I say this? Because anyone who talks about things like secession, nullification, interposition, revolution … is labelled a “dangerous” threat, cast aside as a lunatic, ridiculed, and sometimes even arrested for no valid reason. [...]
