Ah, yes! Today's the day of the infamous Rule 5, from "How to Get a Million Hits on Your Blog in Less Than a Year!" If you're not reading The Other McCain, you're not paying attention! I'm just sayin' ...
As Robert Stacy McCain succinctly notes, "Everybody Likes a Pretty Girl!" And who can argue with that? So without further ado ... this week's Rule 5 is brought to you by none other than the gorgeous, amazing, and talented Ali Larter!
Ali Larter (32-23-35), is an American actress, born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, on February 28, 1976 as Alison Elizabeth Larter.

Ali began her modeling career at age 14, with the world-renowned Ford Models and traveling the world.
In 1995, she moved to Los Angeles, enrolling in acting classes at the suggestion of a friend. In November 1996, Larter portrayed the hoax model Allegra Coleman in Esquire magazine:
Esquire magazine's November 1996 cover featured Allegra Coleman ... "Forget Gwyneth, Forget Mira," the cover declared. "Here's Hollywood's next Dream Girl."
David Schwimmer, star of Friends, was said to be her on-again, off-again boyfriend, although he was getting some competition from Quentin Tarantino who had apparently dumped Mira Sorvino to go out with her. It was even rumored that Woody Allen had completely overhauled his next movie so that she could star in it. "The real thing," the article gushed. "She has it."
"Her nature is spongy and luminescent," the self-help guru Deepak Chopra was quoted as saying. Excerpts from her diary ... "I am having thoughts," one entry read. "Really getting into thinking."
She seemed to be a mystery. Or, as Allegra herself put it, "It's like Stonehenge, you know? The biggest mystery, totally unsolved."
Hollywood was intrigued ... the magazine received calls from talent scouts, eager to get in touch with the new star. But not all readers were taken with Allegra. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch denounced Esquire for celebrating her obvious brainless vapidity.
In no surprise, it was The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, displaying their "brainless vapidity!" What would we do without the Almighty State-Sponsored Journalists? I digress ...

***A Special Request to the Rule 5 Community!*** We all complain about the spending and the resulting debt our children, great-grandchildren, and beyond ... will be forced to pay. Please cover the Federal Reserve Transparancy Act on your blogs! This is important! Earler this week, the Democratic Senate leadership blocked Jim DeMint's bid to audit the Fed! An audit of the Fed will certainly open Pandora's Box ... but will only result in a blessing to all of us taxpayers. Not only us, but many generations to come as well!

Rule 5: Take your pick...
In 1997, Ali Larter appeared in one episode of the sitcom Suddenly Susan, with Brooke Shields. In 1999, she launched her film career, appearing in the film Varsity Blues. A film that includes one of her most famous scenes - Wearing nothing but whipped cream, she attempts to seduce James Vanderbeek's character who surprisingly turns her down. And people tell me sci-fi movies are too unrealistic ... Here's the scene. You be the judge.

Ali Larter's star began rising from there! In 2000, she starred in the box office success Final Destination, and in 2001 she played a supporting role in Reese Witherspoon's hit movie Legally Blonde.
Also in 2001, Ali appeared in the movies American Outlaw and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, performed on stage in The Vagina Monologues in NY City, and appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine.
Ali's career got a significant boost when she was cast in NBC's hit television series Heroes, playing the character(s) Jessica/Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss. Larter was nominated as "Best Supporting Actress" at the 33rd Saturn Awards, for her role(s) on Heroes.

In 2007, Larter starred in Bollywood's Marigold, joined the cast of the popular film franchise Resident Evil: Extinction as Claire Redfield, and appeared in the comedy Homo Erectus. Larter was also featured as #6 in Maxim's Hot 100 for 2007!

Dr. Dave,
There’s a reason we keep it PG-13 and under around here …
You know…you get even more hits if a few of them aren’t wearing clothes. I haven’t quite been able to bring myself to do it myself, since my wife, and other women, read the thing.
Actually, your post is very tastefully done, and enjoyable!
