Crash course: Your illustrated guide to the Tea Party saboteurs

The one-year anniversary of the nationwide April 15 Tax Day Tea Party counterinsurgency is fast approaching — and publicity-seeking malefactors of all stripes want in on the spotlight.

Over the last week, conservative activists online have thoroughly exposed the loser behind an Internet call to “Crash the Tea Party.” His name is Jason Levin. To follow his trail, check Free Republic here, Canada Free Press here, and Velvet Hammer here.

“We will act on behalf of the Tea Party in ways which exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled protest signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.) to further distance them from mainstream America and damage the public’s opinion of them. We will also use the inside information that we have gained in order to disrupt and derail their plans.”

Levin registered his site under a phony name on April 3, 2010. He’s just the latest in a long line of left-wing leeches and anarchist clowns trying to discredit Tea Party activism and mask their roles as agents provocateur.

Last month, it was nutballs on the rabble-rousing “Infoshop News” site. Like Levin, they tried to cover up by deleting their call to sabotage. But the fingerprints have been preserved through screen-caps and caches ...

Tea Party Crashers Cozy Up to MSM For a Celebration of Marxism 101

They claimed to have “thrown the rightwing bloggosphere [sic] into a tizzy” with their dog-and-pony show announcement of “infiltrating the tea parties” on April 15th. Problem: pretending that you’re Harriet the Spy and infiltrating tea parties only works if you’re covert about it, otherwise, you’re just showing up.

They state:

WHO WE ARE, Crash The Tea Party style, is a lesson in Marxism 101: “A nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are sick and tired of that loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grass-roots movement which calls itself “The Tea Party.”

Really, I find the tea party crashers to be entertaining and benign.

Still, all of that energy just to disrupt the peaceful gathering of regular American folk … I hope socialists aren’t taking cues from Al Qaeda.

Beware of the Tea Party Crashers at the Tax Day Rallies

Thousands of patriotic Americans will take to the street to protest the out of control radicals in Washington who have battered the economy with record spending and record deficits. Last April the unemployment rate had already soared to 8.9%. This April unemployment is holding at 9.7%. Government officials tripled the federal budget deficit to a record $1.4 trillion in the 2009 fiscal year. This year the federal government is on track to break that record. Instead of focusing on the broken economy the leaders in Washington spent the past year focusing on an unpopular trillion dollar entitlement program. While they did this, spending shot up, debt piled up, deficits soared, and unemployment spiked while opportunity, liberty and hope bottomed out.

Patriotic Americans will protest these destructive economic policies this week.

But beware of the party crashers.

Believers in Smearacles: The Tea Party Crashers

As the deadline looms to file your taxes before the tax man cometh, so, too, does the reality that hardcore fare leftists will attempt to infiltrate the Tea Party’s nationwide Tax Day protests – in order to try and paint all of them as racist, homophobic thugs (surprise).

[T]here’s a distinct difference in “infiltrating” a political gathering/movement and observing versus infiltrating it and pretending to be a part of it all the while plotting to make up and stage things about the movement that are untrue. That the far left has resorted to these types of tactics – “in your face” style tactics that candidate Obama himself argued in favor of both during the campaign and as President – is a strong indicator of the desperation of the far left as they try to push and shove and “deem” as acceptable socialist/fascist policies on the American people.

Who’s Behind the ‘Crash the Tea Party’ Website?

Meet Jason Levin: he digs Olbermann, ObamaCare, and 9/11 truther websites. Oddly enough, he really, really doesn't like the idea of tea parties.

[A] newly incorporated website seemingly dedicated to widespread and organized fraud to discredit the tea party movement, as it boasts on its home page:

WHO WE ARE: A nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are all sick and tired of that loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grass-roots movement which calls itself “The Tea Party.”

WHAT WE WANT: To dismantle and demolish the Tea Party by any non-violent means necessary.

HOW WE WILL SUCCEED: By infiltrating the Tea party itself! In an effort to propagate their pre-existing propensity for paranoia and suspicion. … We have already sat quietly in their meetings and observed their rallies.

Whenever possible, we will act on behalf of the Tea Party in ways which exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled protest signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.) to further distance them from mainstream America and damage the public’s opinion of them. We will also use the inside information that we have gained in order to disrupt and derail their plans

Sound like fun? … It is!!

[T]he suspect appears to be a conspiratorial 36-year-old from the Pacific Northwest named Jason Levin. He started promoting the site on April 8 on his personal Twitter account, but failed to do an adequate job of covering up his personal information when he registered the domain five days earlier. He later attempted to cover his tracks, but the original information was quickly disseminated around the internet by those who wondered who was behind the group.

When contacted by Pajamas Media, Levin confirmed his involvement in the effort, stating, “Our stated intentions, or ‘manifesto’ as some of the conservative bloggers have called it is absolutely sincere.” He claimed to have operatives in tea party groups in every major city.

Levin concluded with a taunt: “Good luck stopping us. See you on 4/15.”

This is how the left works. They don't have an actual argument in favor of more State power over your life, so they work to discredit and silence the opposition instead.

Pathetic.

What say you?
