[...] Classic Liberal: The Death of American Freedom with Sofia Vergara [...]
This was a very fascinating article, and I would happily share it on Facebook, but the distraction of all the photos of scantily clad women is a major reason I will not share.
I may be a very Liberal person, not prudish either, but also a woman who would rather read the article based on the content and the message it delivers without the unrelated noise of the photos. Not all readers are men and not all men need be drawn to an article by distractions such as this. Once distracted, will they be able to actually absorb the content of the article.
Interestingly, I enjoyed all aspects of the article, and would point out that one of the great motivators bringing me back to this site is it's unique approach.
Pity you can't get past that in order to share with your friends and let them judge for themselves.
What's that saying: "Judge not, lest ye be judged"?
I guess you ARE a liberal.
Apologies for my late reply, it's been a busy week ...
Thank you for your honest opinion. I appreciate it. I do understand your concern, and also understand that my approach can sometimes turn people off. The flip-side is that my approach also attracts people who would otherwise never even be exposed to writing like this if it wasn't part of the Rule 5 tradition.
It is indeed rare to find anything on this blog endorsing a "mainstream" opinion and/or taking a "mass appeal" approach. For me personally, to do so, would make all the time I spend blogging futile. So I give my honest opinion my own way, strengths and weaknesses all, and hope you enjoy and learn whether you agree, disagree, or are once and awhile put off by my approach.
Thank you again, please stop back in. Regularly scheduled blogging will be back after Christmas.
