Ever since the Bailout Maverick lost his presidential bid, there's been a lot of talk about how the conservative movement needs intellectuals. Well, I respectfully disagree. Because I think everyone is simply looking for them in the wrong places.
Consider the current health care debate. Maybe I've missed something, because I haven't heard one Republican (or "conservative" pundit) discuss the massive cost structure that exists in health care BECAUSE of the government. Nor have I heard one of them talk about eliminating legislation. And it's been years, since I've heard a Republican talk about freedom.
Government IS the problem in health care. And the problem isn't going to fix itself.
The federal government is on the verge of bankruptcy, as is the post office, and so too is the ultimate central-planner, the Federal Reserve. Do you really trust your health care, your life, to the 545 people responsible for every mess we're in?
We don't need tax tricks or "smarter" legislation. We need to repeal legislation, repeal taxes, and get the government out of our way! We need Health Care Freedom!
