Deliver us, Obama?

Are they really saying "deliver us, Obama?" I sure hope not.

Creepy O-cult video of the day: “Deliver us, Obama!”

... video of community organizers led by the “Gamaliel Foundation” praying to The One as they lobby for “social justice” and health care for all.

“HEAR OUR CRY, OBAMA!”

“DELIVER US, OBAMA!”

And no, this is not an Onion parody ...

Community organizers pray to their new deity, or something; Update: Or do they?

This video came from last December, not recently, which means that the lunacy preceded the current debate over ObamaCare. This was at the tail end of the Democrats’ campaign attempt to cast their agenda in religious terms of social justice, although they have certainly picked up that effort again over the summer. If anything, it reminds people of just how bad Democrats and left-wing groups are at this kind of campaign. No one there seems to realize how shocking and sacreligious this will sound to actual churchgoers, who will rightly recoil at the worship of Obama as an idol in place of the actual Deity.

Video: Community organizers PRAY to Obama (no joke!)

Ugh. What is it going to take for people to wake up from their trance? A nice burn ala Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom after drinking the bloof of Kali?

Deliver Us Obama: Community Organizers Pray to President obama-worship

This creepshow is totally predictable. Recall the Oliphant cartoon from the campaign.

It’s a Good Thing for Progressives that God Isn’t in the Smiting with Fire and Brimstone Business Anymore.

Now can we admit that the President has built a weird cult of personality around him? ... [T]he assembled health care activists from Obama’s first community organizing effort in Chicago pray to the President to give them what they want and to deliver them from their enemies.

That goes just a touch beyond creepy, I think.

That was simply disturbing. That's not a bad thing, we need to know. If that doesn't bother someone, there is an issue deep down in their soul.
