In yet another "isolated" incident, 2 Denver Colorado Police Officers beat the crap out of an innocent mundane.
Evidently, offering to testify on behalf of another innocent mundane is a very serious crime. NEVER DISAGREE a Ruling Class guard dog.
You gotta love the state organ headline ... "alleged" ... yeah right.
New case & new video: Man walking dogs alleges police used excessive force
DENVER - What started as a walk to the park with his dogs ended with a trip to the hospital for a Denver dog owner. 32-year-old Mark Ashford says he was beaten black and blue by two Denver Police officers.
"They punched him and pinned him up against the fence and forced his head into the concrete." Ashford's attorney, Will Hart, said the beating that was caught on camera is a clear case of Excessive Force. "This happened when he was walking his dogs, he has a conversation with another citizen that the police officer doesn't like and as a result, he ends up in the hospital," said Hart.
Hart says Mark Ashford was walking his dogs near 20th and Little Raven in LoDo, when he saw police pull over a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign. Ashford told the driver he saw him stop and would be willing to testify in court. Hart says the officer overheard him and "wasn't very happy."
That's when Ashford says the Denver police officers demanded his I.D. and detained him. Ashford tried to take a picture of the officers to document the incident, and a few second later he was on the ground.
H/T - Perhaps We SHOULD Have Kids for Cops.
Some of you out there may take issue with my blatant lack of respect towards police officers and constant posting of police brutality videos. Well, too bad. Maybe it's time you start pointing that finger in the mirror.
These videos provide you an opportunity to witness firsthand, what life under a Police State is like. Which, btw, is where every form of collectivism must lead. Flirting with Fascism. Social Democracy.
The acts of violence you see in these videos are the logical result of our ever increasing legislation, stricter penalties, burgeoning welfare, and belief so many have that the State is the ultimate enforcer of moral human behavior. The more you demand the State be involved, the more violence you will experience. To believe otherwise is to believe in unicorns and rainbows.
The hippies may have gone berserk on drugs back in the sixties, but the militarized drug cartels on our border and armed drug gangs running our cities, were born in response to the government's War on Drugs itself. Yes, the "war" itself bred that extreme violence.
But hey, what do I know. It's different this time.

Wow. Out of control police again. These police officers need to be canned. Thanks for the post CL
[...] The Classic Liberal: Denver Cops Beat Innocent Man Out Walking His Dogs [...]
People have no respect for the law because of issues just like this. I am not a liberal. I am not even close, as I lean libertarian. I believe that there must be stiffer penalties for law enforcement than for citizens or people will continue to distrust law enforcement. This is no different than the transit cop that murdered a civilian by shooting him in the back after he was subdued in California recently. That murderer got off with manslaughter. What a pathetic joke. We had a similar incident where I live where an inmate in a holding cell was tazered by 10 different police officers simultaneously in the back while taking a shower. Since it could not be proven which officer's tazer killed the detainee, they all got off without even a reprimand. We are a nation of laws and if those who choose to take the responsibility of enforcing those laws aren't held to a higher standard, there will be no trust for the police and no respect for the law.
Exactly! How could they? And the more authority cops have, and laws written, the more violent society becomes.
Thanks for posting this, CL. These cops were so far out of line it's not even funny.
[...] The Classic Liberal has another police brutality case. [...]
When the gentleman walked to the window of the other vehicle and started speaking to the driver while the Officer was talking to him, he was interfering with the officers investigation, which is an arrestable offense. What do you expect the police to do when the guy wont comply? Give up and walk away? I think the officer responded appropriately.
Watch the whole video, the defense attorney edited this video. He wasn't having a "private" conversation, while the officer was still talking to the driver, this man knocked on the drivers passenger side window in an attempt to get a rise out of the officer. This officer had the right to identify him, because he is committing a crime by interfering with the officers duties. If u watch the whole video you can see the man pull away from the officer when they were attempting to put him in handcuffs, and the "victim" actually grabs the officers neck first, and is actively resisting the officers.Police officers come under alot of heat, and do not have to get their butts kicked just so people can be happy. It wouldnt matter anyways, people would have probably cheered, if an officer got hurt. The bottom line here is that the man was being placed under arrest, and actively resisted and it took two officers to place him under arrest. at the end of the video, the "victim" even bites the officers hand, and the officer then out him in a postion where he wont be able to bite or spit on anyone else. I am not a cop, I am actually studying to be a criminal defense attorney, and I am a liberal.
