Ron PaulYes, btw, that is a serious question.

George W. Bush governed as a bona-fide progressive. John "I love Teddy Roosevelt" McCain is a proud progressive too.

All too often conservatives displayed the same over-the-top adoration of George W. Bush, as the Left shows for Barack Obama. Then in November 2008, conservatives turned out in droves hoping to elect John McCain.

"He's our leader!"

If you believe politicians are our leaders, please go read our founding documents. It's "We the People" who are in control.

Either people aren't really conservative anymore, or they believe the best way to preserve the Constitution is to stuff it in a drawer and put their principles in their pockets - a losing proposition every time.

Go ahead, hate me if you must ... But somebody has to say these things, so I say them. I say them because I care.

The comments here work (even though they may look like they don't), so please ... Somebody name just one Republican who has steadfastly fought for low taxes, limited government, repealing Roe v. Wade, and our Constitution more than the one guy conservatives hate more than Barack Obama - Rep. Ron Paul.

But, but, but ... the WAR!

Is the war really more important to you than our Constitutionally limited-government? If so, is that consistent with conservative principles? Is Big Government a price you're willing to pay, as long as you can have a war?

I sure can't come up with any logical answer as to why conservatives don't support the one guy who's committed his life to the principles conservatives allegedly believe.

You can't name one Republican who has done more this past year alone, let alone their entire political career, to fight for the taxpayer than Ron Paul. Seriously, what has you're favorite Republican done for you lately?

Is Ron Paul Running The GOP Now?

When it comes to declared votes for or against the confirmation of Ben Bernanke, the Republican caucus in the Senate is currently mostly opposed. This is really pissing off the Democrats, who feel like they are being made to take the fall for confirming Bailout Ben.

A senior administration official tells POLITICO's Mike Allen:

"It's amazing that Senate [Republicans] can barely muster a majority for a Republican who was named Time's 'Man of the Year' and who served in the Bush White House, was appointed to his current job by President George W. Bush and has the full support of the US Chamber of Commerce and Main Street American business. And their main complaint is that he saved the world from what Jim Cramer has called the 'financial stone age.' Is the minority leader Ron Paul? Someone's learned the wrong lesson from the MA race and it's not President Obama."

Our Founder's risked and often sacrificed their lives ... and I'm talking about the many unsung heroes whose names we'll never know. Men, women and children fought the British as they stormed our towns. Without flinching, they risked it all!

What sacrifice are you willing to make to take our Constitutionally limited-government back?

Will you support a politician who is (allegedly) "unpopular?" Can you actually muster up the courage to support a limited-government candidate? Are you willing to vote for a third party? Can you handle the rejection? Will you run for office yourself?

Or will you sacrifice your principles once again, and vote for a "winnable" Big Government Republican instead?

Which is no sacrifice at all.
