These are trying times indeed.
Some folks insist that you just need to have some Tony-Robbins-Positivity! Others insist that it's just politics as usual - Democrat vs. Republican.
They're wrong. One way or another, America is going to change forever. Soon.
[Peter Schiff's] critics say those overseas investments, coupled with his oft-stated pessimism about the direction of the U.S. economy, reveal a lack of faith that they find inappropriate for someone running for one of the nation's highest offices. "At heart it's so unpatriotic,'' said Ed Anderson, a Democratic activist. He has already confronted Schiff about his foreign holdings at public events and plans to bring a Chinese flag in the future to underscore his point.
No. It is not unpatriotic to invest smartly and speak truthfully about the current economic conditions of our country. Democratic activist Ed Anderson, wants you to believe that LIES are patriotic, because they prop up the Washington regime.
Beware of those who equate patriotism with the State. Thomas Jefferson is a true patriot, and he would call for a revolution!
The truth is that America is on an unsustainable path towards destruction.
Debt Interest Costs to Triple
According to Faber, the U.S. annual interest costs, currently around 12% of the government's tax revenue, will soar to 35% of tax revenue within five years. This will force the government to cut spending (an unlikely scenario), and/or frantically print more money.
He now believes a correction in U.S. stocks could come much sooner than most expect as momentum players could "pull the trigger relatively quickly." Faber is now looking at a 5%-10% rate of return for global investors.
Note: Jim Rogers also sees the U.S. government bond is overpriced and "in a bubble".
Stock Market Manipulation
Do we have the Federal Reserve to thank for the recent stock rally? The only logical answer is yes, according to TrimTabs, a research firm that tracks money flows in and out of the stock market. As I read the title of their report, I thought it might be a mad-hatter conspiracy theory, but the analysis is rather compelling. If they are correct, it could have significant implications for the longevity of the powerful rally that lifted the market from its March lows last year.
Following the cash
Here's the line of reasoning: U.S. stocks gained $6 trillion in aggregate market value starting in mid-March. According to TrimTabs, historically, increases in stock market value require a net cash inflow into stocks equivalent to 10% of the increase, or $600 billion in this instance. However, the firm couldn't trace the origins of anything close to that sum from among traditional market participants ...
The Government Wants Your Guns!
... much of what the POTUS has done regarding guns, like his position as a board member on the Joyce Foundation, which is vehemently anti-gun. Also ignored are his appointments of anti-gun officials, such as Eric Holder and Cass Sunstein. Obama changed his rhetoric, just as he did with single payer, but he appointed people that would do it for him. That, of course, gives him some cover.
Consumed with the Porkulus, Cap and Trade, and heath care for most of 2009, the administration simply has not done anything else. What will happen when he has more time?
Even though the overwhelming evidence proves that gun ownership REDUCES crime, the government wants to take your guns. Why?
"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to permit the conquered Eastern peoples to have arms. History teaches that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by doing so. Indeed I would go so far as to say that the underdog is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order." - Adolf Hitler, April 11, 1942, in “Hitler's Table-Talk at the Führer's Headquarters 1941–1942,” Dr. Henry Picker, ed. (Athenaeum Verlag, Bonn, 1951)
I am being too wild? Is this all just crazy talk?
No. It is reality. The reality we wish not face.
Popularity is for wimps. Resolve is for heroes.
The Militia Question, Resolved
Twenty-seven words first published in 1790 are now the source of the bitterest controversy the USA has seen since the 1960s if not since the War Between the States a century before that. They are central to an issue that splits left and right, male and female, white and nonwhite, North and South, East and West, wealthy and not-so wealthy.
They are:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Let’s get this straight right away. First of all, the inalienable right of individuals to keep and bear arms as a check on a tyrannical government predates our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. This, among other things, was clearly and eloquently expressed in Sir William Blackstone's 1768 "Commentaries On The Laws of England.” Hence, the Founders were operating within a long historical tradition based upon English common law.
Secondly, the term “well-regulated” meant something quite different two centuries ago. It is not today’s definition of “controlled,” “limited,” or “restricted” but was instead defined as “having proper kit and provisions” or in the case of objects or machinery, “properly maintained and kept in good repair.” The next is the Constitutional definition of the “militia,” and this what requires detailed explanation. The militia issue was extensively debated during the 1787–89 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and today has sadly been ignored by both sides in this issue.
Founder George Mason explicitly wished to have it clearly spelled out that the militia was “of the whole people," in effect, a “general militia” that was affirmed in the Second Amendment and the 1792 Militia Act.
Much ado about nothing.....
Scott Brown won, great! Though tell me, America, what will our recently elected Republican do to improve the American condition? At the current time he’s accomplished little more than the kid-in-chief and all the talk of strategic strike, opening volley in taking back the country, or a setback for the progressives steadily destroying our Republic is non-sense. Understand the following: The Republican Party is comprised of blue plate socialists. They want the very same thing that the progressive controlled Democrats want though at half the price. They stand for centralized government, dissolution of State sovereignty, balkanization of the American people, crony capitalism, and ultimately will put the citizenry under the boot of tyranny though they’ll wrap it in the flag and call it good.
“and what’s a genuine conservative to do”? A question that is certainly on the minds of many and one that we have attempted to answer here on more than one occasion. What you are to do is opt out. Opt out of the federal system and leave the pigs to their own devices. Concentrate on the local and be prepared at some future time to exert your local influence via a variety of means so as to weaken and ultimately render the federal level irrelevant. Yes, some areas are ungovernable.
Ungovernable States of America
Some areas can become more ungovernable than others and ultimately the concept will take hold though it will not do so until you understand the threats arrayed against you and decide to get up off your ass and do something about it.
Do you believe in the American Creed? If so, how far are you willing to go to honor it? What are YOU willing to sacrifice?
There doesn't have to be another bloody revolution. Personally, I don't believe violence is the answer. The battle for America belongs to "those whose resolve is steeled by conviction, and who fight w/ the courage of belief ..."
It's time to get out of your comfort zone. It's time to be a Rebel!
