Congress May Probe Leaked Global Warming E-Mails
A few days after leaked e-mail messages appeared on the Internet, the U.S. Congress may probe whether prominent scientists who are advocates of global warming theories misrepresented the truth about climate change.
Last week's leaked e-mails range from innocuous to embarrassing and, critics believe, scandalous. They show that some of the field's most prominent scientists were so wedded to theories of man-made global warming that they ridiculed dissenters who asked for copies of their data ("have to respond to more crap criticisms from the idiots"), cheered the deaths of skeptical journalists, and plotted how to keep researchers who reached different conclusions from publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
The Significance Of The Growing Climate Scandal
This data is the source of the EPA’s decision to regulate CO2. The fact that the data may be false or fudged then throws into question not only the conclusions of the IPCC’s report, but the EPA’s decision. If, in fact, they indicate scientific fraud as they seem too, then it also calls into question any other science or decisions made based on their conclusions. We’re literally talking about trillions of dollars hanging in the balance and a massive shift in government power (through regulation and taxation) and intrusion in our lives.
Yet, despite the fact that this story has been circulating for at least a week, some media outlets have declined to pursue it and have done the journalistic equivalent of yelling “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead” by publishing editorials and articles which talk about the threat of global warming. Thankfully their readers, in some cases unmercifully, clue them in.

Obama’s Science Czar John Holdren involved in unwinding “Climategate” scandal
Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal. In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”.
“The files contain so much material that it is going to take some time t o put it all in context,” says Ball. “However, enough is already known to underscore their explosive nature. It is already clear the entire claims and positions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are based on falsified manipulated material and is therefore completely compromised.
“The fallout will be extensive as material continues to emerge. Reputations of the scientists involved are already destroyed, however fringe players will continue to be identified and their reputations destroyed or sullied.”
Media Ignores Climategate Even as NASA Is Dragged Into the Scandal
The state-run media may be ignoring the greatest scandal in modern science but unfortunately for them the story is not going away.
The Competitive Enterprise Institute filed notices of intent today against NASA for refusing to release climate documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act.
Scandal Rocks Global Warming Establishment
The posting of private data files from the Climatic Research Unit in England reveals the sleazy, unseemly side of a number of the leading scientific proponents of global warming alarmism, including CRU Director Phil Jones, Michael Mann, Ben Santer, and Kevin Trenberth. It is clear that some of the “world’s leading climate scientists,” as they are always described, are more dedicated to promoting the alarmist political agenda than in scientific research. Some of the e-mails that I have read are blatant displays of personal pettiness, unethical conniving, and twisting the science to support their political position.
Anyone who assumed that these so-called scientific authorities in the debate were providing the straight scientific facts is going to have to think again. We have argued for many years that much of the scientific case for global warming alarmism was weak and some of it was phony. It now looks like a lot of it may be phony.

But I think we’re seeing a portrayal of a fundamental human weakness here. Once we recognize a need to do something, we seem overly enamored of the prospect of telling others to do something — “grab a mop!” — as opposed to just doin’ the stuff. I’m not talking about laziness. I’m talking about a lust for attention. We’re surrounded by idiots who buy into this thing hook line and sinker…and yet…the idea of just plugging away tediously at the things in their own lives, using what they have “learned” to make their own routines more environmentally friendly without anyone paying attention to them, is absolutely horrifying to them.

I think we can see where the broadcast networks stand. They ignore evidence of blatant fraud, and continue to run even more hysterical stories regarding the end of the world. They apparently don’t think that you need to read or hear about the climate scientist that talked about using a “trick” to “ hide the decline,” or know about the American climate scientist that emailed his British counterparts, lamenting the fact that their data does not show warming.

China is actively securing natural resources across the globe to feed their economy for the next one hundred years. They are actively working in Africa to secure access to oil, gas and other natural resources. China is also working in Canada to develop the oils sands . China is not interested in cutting back on anything. They know the global warming thing is all based on junk science and eventually the fad will pass.

The hacked e-mails were damning, but the problems they had handling their own data at CRU are a dagger to the heart of the global warming “theory.” There is a large file of comments by a programmer at CRU called HARRY_READ_ME documenting that their data processing and modeling functions were completely out of control.
They fudged so much that NOTHING that came out of CRU can have ANY believability. If the word can be gotten out on this and understood it is the end of the global warming myth.

Monckton comments on the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit, also known as CRU, showing collusion amongst global warming alarmists scientists to manipulate and delete data, hide it from the scientific community, hijack the peer-review process so that only alarmist papers are published, destroy journals that publish skeptics, collusion between the alarmists and the media, etc. In short, scientific fraud by those that hold the microphone telling us we are all going to commit planetary suicide unless we all become commies and go back to living in caves.
