Southern Poverty Law Center Is Now Part of DHS

As the below document makes clear, Southern Poverty Law Center is Now Officially Part of DHS. The CEO of SPLC now sits on the DHS "Working Group on Countering Violent Extremism" along with the leaders of other So-called Non Government Organizations (but can we really call them such now that they are part of the government?) And select "law enforcement" officers such as the Clark County Nevada Sheriff, Doug Gillespie. What does the working group do? Make recommendations on training and how to use all of the local resources – police, social services, media, NGO’s, you name it – to fight “extremism. So, now no need to file a FOIA request to discover that SPLC is writing the reports naming constitutionalists as possible terrorists. Now it is in your face and the mask is off.

When you read the below document, keep in mind the current ordeal of the Irish family where their newborn baby was taken based on an affidavit that notes the father’s "association with a militia group known as Oath Keepers.". Pay attention to who sits on this panel (see pages 26-30), to who DOESN’T, how they plan on reaching DHS tentacles down into every level of society, and how they talk overtly about the need to utilize local SOCIAL WELFARE and MENTAL HEALTH agencies to counter "violent extremism.". In other words, what is now being done to the Irish family will be done all over.

There's a reason that the original American conservatives, Russell Kirk, Richard M. Weaver, Robert Nibet and the rest of the Old Right were antiwar. War belonged to the progressives, the statists, the Democrats ... because "War communism precedes, indeed gives birth to, civil communism."

The great villain in bringing America the joys of military and civil communism, or "statism" for those who shy away from red-baiting, was in Nisbet's view, none other than Woodrow Wilson, "the patriarch of American foreign policy moralism and interventionism" (p. 30). Those who fret about Joe McCarthy's persecution of a few Stalinists ought to read Nisbet's account of a real reign of terror, i.e., Wilson's domestic repression of 1917-1918 (pp. 42-50). He writes: "Not Britain, not France, not the hated Germany had the kind of dictatorial power vested in any one figure or office that the United States did shortly after American participation in the war began" (p. 44). Further: "The blunt fact is that when under Woodrow Wilson America was introduced to the War State in 1917, it was introduced also to what would later be known as the total, or totalitarian state" (p. 45).

The Maniacs at MIAC

We pay the salaries of MIAC’s bozos so they can spy on us – all to protect the homeland, of course. And these Nervous Nellies repay us by alleging that Americans who condemn gargantuan government like to hide in the tall grass, the better to ambush a cop. No wonder MIAC rescinded the report as Missouri’s politicians scrambled to distance themselves: its research, reasoning and wretched writing are so farcical they’d shame Inspector Clouseau, let alone the űber-sleuths MIAC’s bureaucrats fancy themselves.

Chillingly, while MIAC’s mischief preoccupies us, the other 57 quietly continue spying on their fellow citizens.

Many of the principles MIAC’s report denounced are the ideals to which the Founders pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor. Which makes Thomas Jefferson, the "Indians" at Boston’s Tea Party, Francis Marion, Nathan Hale, the farmers and shopkeepers who starved at Valley Forge, Sam Adams and George Washington as suspect in MIAC’s eyes as Americans today who’d rather die on their feet than live on their knees.

Remember the Irish family mentioned above? Well, demonstrators protested the State's kidnapping of their child. So, the State Maniacs sent in bomb-sniffing dogs!

In the meantime ... Besides porno-scanners at airports, disrupting train travel, and placing trackers on your car, the U.S. military is literally brainwashing you.

Army embeds active-duty PSYOPS soldiers at local TV stations

The U.S. Army has used local television stations in the U.S. as training posts for some of its psychological-operations personnel, The Upshot has learned. Since at least 2001, both WRAL, a CBS affiliate in Raleigh, N.C., and WTOC, a CBS affiliate in Savannah, Ga., have regularly hosted active-duty soldiers from the Army's 4th Psychological Operations group as part of the Army's Training With Industry program. Training With Industry is designed to offer career soldiers a chance to pick up skills through internships and fellowships with private businesses. The PSYOPS soldiers used WRAL and WTOC to learn broadcasting and communications expertise that they could apply in their mission, as the Army describes it, of "influenc[ing] the emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of foreign audiences."

This is what militarism breeds ... a police state.

Don't blame this on the Obama Administration alone either, it goes much deeper than that. President George W. Bush was targeting Americans too.

Libertarians Are Terrorists, Says the State of Alabama

The Alabama Department of Homeland Security (ALDHS), established in June of 2003, has recently constructed a website that defines Domestic Terrorists as those who oppose gun control and a strong federal government.

Under the heading "Anti-Government Groups", the site displays a flag that is widely considered one of the first symbols of American patriotism and reads, "In general, these terrorists claim that the U.S. government is infringing on their individual rights, and/or that the government's policies are criminal and immoral. Such groups may hold that the current government is violating the basic principles laid out by the U.S. Constitution…"

Still trust "your" government? Still love torture and war?

Just remember ... The only people who ever attacked your freedoms and took away your liberties are those in "your" own government. Osama bin Laden didn't take away your liberties, George W. Bush did. Osama bombed our buildings, but George W. Bush let him live. Because you see, it was your freedom that was the problem.
