In their endless quest to humiliate and demean we mere peasants, the TSA harassed and bullied a 4-year old girl who was flying home with her family out of Wichita, Kansas earlier this month.
Weeping four-year-old girl accused of carrying a GUN by TSA officers after she hugged her grandmother while passing through security
[Four-year-old Isabella] was accused of having a gun and declared a 'high security threat', while agents threatened to shut down the whole airport if she could not be calmed down.
The family was in Kansas for a wedding, and was travelling home to Montana with Ms Brademeyer's mother.
Ms Brademeyer and her two children had passed through security when the grandmother was detained after triggering an alarm on the scanners.
Isabella then … 'excitedly ran over to give her a hug, as children often do. They made very brief contact, no longer than a few seconds.'
The young girl was immediately detained by security agents, who apparently shouted at her that she would have to be frisked too, and refused to let her mother explain what has happening.
Ms Brademeyer wrote: 'It was implied, several times, that my mother, in their brief two-second embrace, had passed a handgun to my daughter.'
First, a TSO began yelling at my child, and demanded she too must sit down and await a full body pat-down. I was prevented from coming any closer, explaining the situation to her, or consoling her in any way.
My child, who was obviously terrified, had no idea what was going on, and the TSOs involved still made no attempt to explain it to her … They told her she had to come to them, alone, and spread her arms and legs. She screamed, "No! I don't want to!" then did what any frightened young child might, she ran the opposite direction.
That is when a TSO told me they would shut down the entire airport, cancel all flights, if my daughter was not restrained. It was then they declared my daughter a "high-security-threat".
Two TSOs were following her and again I was told to have no contact with my child. At this point, I was beyond upset, I disregarded what the TSO had said to me, and I ran to my daughter. I picked her up. I hugged her. I tried to comfort her...
I was forced to set my child down, they brought her into a side room to administer a pat-down, I followed. My sweet four-year-old child was shaking and crying uncontrollably, she did not want to stand still and let strangers touch her … The TSO loomed over my daughter, with an angry grimace on her face, and ordered her to stop crying. When my scared child could not do so, two TSOs called for backup saying "The suspect is not cooperating."
A third TSO arrived to the scene, and showed no more respect than the first two had given. All three were barking orders at my daughter, telling her to stand still and cease crying. When she did not stop crying on command, they demanded we leave the airport. They claimed they could not safely check my daughter for dangerous items if she was in tears. I will admit, I lost my temper.
Finally, a manager intervened. He determined that my child could, in fact, be cleared through security while crying. I was permitted to hold her while the TSO checked her body. When they found nothing hidden on my daughter, they were forced to let us go, but not until after they had examined my ID and boarding passes for a lengthy amount of time.
The TSA isn't apologizing either.
TSA has reviewed the incident and determined that our officers followed proper current screening procedures in conducting a modified pat-down on the child.
But have no fear, Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-MT) is outraged over the four-year-old's treatment. Outraged!
So what's he gonna do about it? Join with Dr. Paul to demand the agency's abolition? Vote against stealing ca. $8 billion from us next year to finance such atrocities? Recommend lengthy terms in prison for the TSA's unspeakable psychopaths? Horsewhip them himself?
Nope. "I intend to sit down with the TSA immediately and demand some answers."
Whew! That oughta put the fear of God into 'em.
Have you had enough yet? Are you at least starting to catch on? The DHS, TSA, and the rest off their evil spawn have absolutely nothing to do with catching "terrorists" whatsoever. These agencies are all about using sexual humiliation as a political tool to control the masses. Washington D.C. hates us for our freedoms.
Back in the day, not too long ago in fact, this kind of blatant and gross abuse was unacceptable from anyone - including the government. So what does it say about our society and culture that we now not only put up with it, but cheer on its bipartisan criminal enablers? Nothing good, that's for sure. No culture can survive this crap.
What's that? Bullying little girls isn't enough to break your faith in your "patriotic" Washington Overlords? How about a 3-year-old in a leg cast and wheelchair? Groping a 6-year old girl? Strip searching a young boy? How about an 8-month old baby?
Had enough yet?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen. -- Samuel Adams
One Long Island family was looking forward to a relaxing trip to sunny Florida. But that trip screeched to a halt when a TSA agent in New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport targeted and searched the family’s disabled seven-year-old daughter, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
How about now? Have you had enough?
