Yes it does! And there&#039;s absolutely no reason to give money to the RNC. It&#039;s the candidate we want to win, not the party. The &quot;moderates&quot; are who the party favors. So giving money to the party ends up helping elect people we don&#039;t want.

The key point I was trying to make here, and I hope it comes across, is that it is up to us - &quot;we the people&quot; - not the party. We have different goals, hopes, and desires than the party itself. It can be commandeered, but conservatives are going to have to change their mind-set to do so.</description>

		<description>I love the point about donating to the candidate, not the party.  Money talks.  We can change the Republican party but it will have to be in the primaries... that&#039;s the hard part.  I think a true Conservative, who could effectively gets his or her ideas across (like Reagan) would win a presidential election.  They just have to get past all the republican moderates, aka the socialist-lite Republicans, in the primaries.</description>
