Kristanna Sommer Loken (36-24-36)  was raised on a fruit farm in Upstate New York. She took acting lessons as a child, and got her first gig at age 13. The 5’11” tall actress signed a modeling contract with Elite, but didn’t really hit big until Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) for which she put on 15 pounds of muscle. T-X, the gynoid assassin known to fans as the “Terminatrix” is still her most recognizable role, but she also played the title character in the film BloodRayne (2005), where she became close with co-star Michele Rodriguez, and the Sci-Fi Channel series Painkiller Jane.

Her personal life has been the subject of much tabloid speculation. Lesbians claim Kristanna as one of their own, and Loken has admitted to having relations with women.  There has been much speculation about Loken and Rodiriguez, but she has neither confirmed nor denied a romance such romance. Loken told Curve magazine, "I have dated and have had sex with men and women and have to say that the relationships I have had with certain women have been much more fulfilling, sexually and emotionally, than of those with certain men... I connect with an aura, with energy. And if the person with whom I connect happens to bea female, that's just the way it is. That's what makes my wheels turn." Her sister Tanya is a lesbian.

On May 10, 2008 Kristanna married actor Noah Dalton Danby (her co-star in Painkiller Jane) at her family's farm in upstate New York.

Kristanna Loken attended both public and private schools, broadening the usual curriculum with lessons in dance, acting, and singing, to name but a few. She was an excellent student, diligent, and hardworking--just as she continues to be as an actress.

Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, swimming; most every outdoor sport. An accomplished equestrian, she has ridden across much of Hawaii, Ireland, and, her most recent trek, 300 miles over some of the roughest terrain in Namibia, Africa.
