Manufactured Angry Mobs

theCL  2009-08-11  Activism, Tea Party

Leah from New Hampshire takes on "the news," reminding them she doesn't know anything about "hired mobs," and says the Republican Party "only wish[es] they could have done something like this." And she's absolutely right!

The groundswell of activism against nationalized health care, is without question, an organic movement. People are genuinely concerned about government controlling their lives (literally, when it comes to health care). As Leah says:

"How can I trust them when they tell me it's gonna save money, when the Congressional Budget Office says it isn't, and it's gonna cover everybody, when the Congressional Budget Office says it isn't, that it's gonna let me keep my health care, when common sense tells you that that's not gonna be the end result of this when the government ends up providing all the health care ... When people lie to us, we don't trust them when they give us platitudes about what's in the bill."

P.S. - If somehow Leah and I are wrong, then I want to know just one thing ... Where's my check?

What say you?

CL, You just have to apply to the right source. For me, the insurance companies pay $500,000 in gold bars every time I mention health care "deform" in a post. KA-CHING!

I'll email you later with the details. Rush Limbaugh pays Dr. Dave. I'm not sure who pays the others. I have so many gold bars now, that my house is starting to sink!

Thanks! In this economy, I'm sure glad they're paying us all in gold!
