The federal government just can't quench its thirst for power and control.
Now, under the false flag of immigration reform, Lindsey Graham and his fellow progressive Chuck Schumer, want to force all Americans to carry a biometric ID card!
Side Note: Remember, Graham is the type of Republican who wants Ron Paul kicked out. Are you starting to get the picture?
5 Reasons Why America Should Steer Clear of a National ID Card
The Senate is working toward a ghastly compromise on immigration reform that includes a biometric national identification card for all Americans. The stated purpose of this national ID, which an employee must present before getting a job, is to prevent undocumented workers from being employed ... the inevitable conclusion of the anti-immigration movement.
First, every worker would have to ask permission from the federal government to get a job. American workers shouldn’t have to beg or plead to anybody to get permission to work. Being employed should be a private agreement between an employer and employee. Period.
Second, carrying around government papers with biometric identification on it conjures up images of a more technologically savvy Oceania or East Germany. No thanks.
Fifth, it would treat every American like a criminal by requiring them to enter their most intimate and personal data into a government database. One of the benefits of not having committed any crimes is that my information is not in a government record office. I’d like to keep it that way.
National ID Card Being Considered By Senators
As Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are working on a Senate version of comprehensive immigration reform and it includes a very controversial idea. There is a provision in the draft bill to force all Americans to possess a biometric ID card. Sources on Capitol Hill confirm to Big Government that the idea of a national ID card is part of the comprehensive immigration reform bill being negotiated between Graham and Schumer.
For those who mistrust big government and treasure freedom, this idea should be revolting and a shocking example of a bad idea run wild. American citizens’ freedoms have been eroding over the past few years, yet this idea is much more than an erosion of rights. It is an all out assault on the idea that Americans have a natural right to be free of government monitoring.
Washington State Citizens Against National ID
Anyone who assures you personal data is safe and secure is either naive or lying. Harsh words you say? In today's world the only thing harsh is the federal government's ever increasing encroachment into the private lives of its citizens.
Sen. Schumer’s Immigration Reform Is a National ID
It’s the natural evolution of the policy called “internal enforcement” of immigration law, as I wrote in my paper, “Franz Kafka’s Solution to Illegal Immigration.”
Once in place, watch for this national ID to regulate access to financial services, housing, medical care and prescriptions—and, of course, serve as an internal passport.
Senators Lindsey Graham & Chuck Schumer Think Americans Need a National Workers Identification Card
People never cease to amaze me. Senators Chuck Schumer(D) and Lindsey Graham(R) have proposed a new workers identification card that every American would be required to have. This is their start on the immigration issue. Are you kidding me? A national workers i-d card for American citizens. Lets see how that has worked in the past, try Nazi Germany and the former Soviet Union, papers please! You have a right to privacy, with people like this is office its amazing they haven’t tried this sooner. Using an issue such as immigration to try to curb those freedoms is below contempt. This is not about immigrants having these cards its about American citizens be forced to have them.
These two poor excuses for legislators want to have each American worker required to have a bio metric identification card. They didn’t say immigrant workers on green cards or temporary visa’s. No, they want to issue them to American citizens.
ID Card for Workers Is at Center of Immigration Plan
The biggest objections to the biometric cards may come from privacy advocates, who fear they would become de facto national ID cards that enable the government to track citizens.
"It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people's privacy," said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "We're not only talking about fingerprinting every American, treating ordinary Americans like criminals in order to work. We're also talking about a card that would quickly spread from work to voting to travel to pretty much every aspect of American life that requires identification."
Ron Paul on Megyn Kelly's America Live
Megyn totally misses the sarcasm about the GPS tracking device. But then again, as much as I like Paul ... he's no stand-up comedian.

Scary stuff.

You see not all progressives are Democrats…some are indeed Republicans.
That’s why I think the Democrat vs. Republican argument is dead.
