Newt Gingrich would have been a much better Republican candidate than John McCain, or any of the other Republicans that ran in the primaries in my opinion. But that's OK, because he's been doing a terrific job blasting the Elite Media for their blatant support of Obama.
He's taken on "the press" over Sarah Palin multiple times, challenged Diane Sawyer over her interview with "Joe the Plumber," and in the following clip, Newt calls it like it is, and rips the Elite Media a new one. As Newt says correctly, "The fix is in!"
The Elite Media "are so desperate to elect Obama," they completely ignore both his and Joe Biden's lies, while defending the known criminals Obama associates with. As he also points out in this "one-sided, vicious, unending, dishonest" campaign by the Elite Media to elect "the One," nobody has even bothered to ask Sarah Palin any substantive questions about her actual career in Alaska.
- How did she accomplish returning $1,300 back to each taxpayer?
- How did she negotiate and win higher tax receipts from Big Oil?
- How did she work out the deal to build the natural gas pipeline?
- How did she shape an $11 billion budget, that included 29,000 state government employees?
Apparently, these things just don't matter to the Elite Media. They rather ask her what periodicals she reads, and then run stupid stories based on wild accusations, her teenage daughter, or her wardrobe budget. Yet, they can't figure out why they keep losing ratings ... As reported on the Drudge Report yesterday (10/22/2008), people are casting their votes on the media, with their remotes:
