Global warming is a crock o' sh!t. The Volcano in Iceland that's spewing ash into the air as we type, is putting more pollutants into the air than we have in the entire last century. I guarantee that you will see a significant temperature variant in Europe to the lower side. And you will most likely see an increase in the snowfall this next winter. If you'll recall, When Krackatoa erupted in the middle of the Pacific Ocean back in the 1880's, the resulting ash cloud changed the weather pattern for several years.

Cap and Tax is just another way for the government to get into the American taxpayer's pocket. And Al Gore and others of his ilk stand to make even more money off of this.

One of the supposed "savings" from Romneycare, was to be in the form of fewer visits to the Emergency Room. (Sound familiar?) A study showed:

"Massachusetts’ 2006 health reform legislation sought to move the state to near universal health insurance coverage and to improve access to high quality care. The available research evidence shows that the state has achieved near universal health insurance coverage and has made significant gains in access to care. As of fall 2008, nearly all (92%) working-age adults in the state had a usual source of care for when they were sick or needed advice about their health and most (85%) had had at least one doctor visit in the past 12 months. Despite significant gains in access to care under health reform, high levels of emergency department (ED) use have persisted in Massachusetts. Specifically, ED use was high in Massachusetts prior to health reform and has stayed high under health reform."

... why doesn’t some company or entity challenge the 2007 Supreme Court ruling that carbon dioxide is a pollutant ...

I don't know the entire answer to that, but 2 things come to mind: 1) For many businesses, even sizeable ones, the cost/benefit factor is too risky to bother, and 2) contrary to popular belief, Big Business loves Big Government! They're on the same page!

John Derbyshire in his unique fashion put it best when he quoted his imaginary newspaper, "thoughtful editorial in my favorite newspaper, the Feudal Times and Reactionary Herald foresaw another downward lurch in the death-spiral of Western civilization, as, quote, "The world's last bastion of individual liberty, independence, self-government and and self-support sees a mighty breach made in its walls by the ballistae of utopian socialism," end quote. Who can disagree?" when speaking of the healthcare bill passage.

Here is my issue with greenhouse gases and the Supreme Court ruling in 2007. With all the new evidence that supports the book is not closed on global warming and greenhouse gases, why doesn't some company or entity challenge the 2007 Supreme Court ruling that carbon dioxide is a pollutant in greenhouse gases. Surely since climategate this can now be readdressed. After all the science is incomplete and if this is true how can the Supreme Court continue to hold its position with carbon dioxide. I didn't realize that there were so many climatologists on the court...oh wait there's not!
