Obama has never explained how he can "end" the war in Iraq by abandoning it. Anyone with an oz of common sense knows the war would escalate if the US retreated. It would go on for decades.
He says he'll cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. NO weapon system has ever been "proven" before the investment was made to develop it! Someone had to "invest" the time and effort to make the first bow to see if it would shoot arrows! Most likely the very first bow didn't work and had to be "redesigned."
Missile defense systems are finally becoming effective! Just like Iraq, he wants to abandon the effort, at the very moment when success is probable!
He'll start an "independent defense spending board" to make sure the quadrennial defense review doesn't result in 'too much" spending. Typical leftest BUNKUM!

Wow! He ends with "my sole priority will be protecting the American people." A platitude, preceeded by complete rejection of any tangible action. Are Americans this dumb?
