President Barack Obama signed over a piece of America's sovereignty, while the mainstream media quietly looks the other way.
Yeah, c'mon ... New World Order, One World Government ... that's all crazy talk.
INTERPOL, a "global policing doctrine", and the President of the World
A curious Presidential Executive Order, signed recently by Barack Obama, has raised considerable confusion and perturbishment (is that a word?) by some observers on the right. The order related to INTERPOL and was originally reported by Steve Schippert of ThreatsWatch (emphases mine):
The White House released an Executive Order "Amending Executive Order 12425." It grants INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) a new level of full diplomatic immunity... By removing language from President Reagan’s 1983 Executive Order 12425, this international law enforcement body now operates – now operates – on American soil beyond the reach of our own top law enforcement arm, the FBI, and is immune from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
Obama Surrenders U.S. Sovereignty: His INTERPOL Executive Order
Andy McCarthy, former assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, notes at National Review that the limitations that Obama removed are “what prevents law-enforcement and its controlling government authority from becoming tyrannical.”
A paragraph later, McCarthy describes Obama’s actions in the starkest of terms:
This international police force (whose U.S. headquarters is in the Justice Department in Washington) will be unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law while it operates in the United States and affects both Americans and American interests outside the United States.
Some bloggers covering this story are noting that the law enforcement agency to which Obama has extended such extraordinary powers to has had a dismal past.
About That Executive Order Amended to Immunize INTERPOL In America…
In fact, Obama’s signing of the executive order on Dec 17, would seem to have been purposely timed to coincide with the busiest time of the year – Christmas crunch time, when most people are shopping, attending Christmas concerts, going to parties, etc. In short, too busy to pay attention to an executive order passed quietly in the night.
Anthony Martin posits that this executive order essentially turns the US into an international police state ...
WHY INTERPOL IMMUNITY? Executive Order 12425 Obama SIGNED GRANTS THAT!
A Coup is Underway
Why would INTERPOL be arresting American citizens on our own soil, without oversight from our own law enforcement agencies? And remember, citizens who are thusly arrested would have no legal authority to demand full documentation from the International Police concerning the charges brought against them. At least one answer to these questions is very clear. A coup is underway in the United States of America, the goal of which is to establish complete, unquestioned authority over the citizens–a ‘fundamental change’ to the United States where citizens have no legal recourse against an authoritarian central government.
The Supreme Court Has Spoken: You Have No Rights
Do you believe that the government of the United States considers itself obliged by law to respect anyone’s rights? You are wrong. Read Chris Floyd’s article on a recent Supreme Court decision to let a lower court’s ruling stand, and weep your bitterest tears. If you count yourself among those who believe that this country stands for something better than the historical norm of tyranny and savagery, consider yourself as having made a grievous mistake.
This horror is the end to which a brave experiment has come. If the rulers can, at their pleasure, declare ANYONE THEY SELECT a legal unperson, the notion that the United States is a free country is nothing but the sickest of sick jokes.
Don’t tell me I’m hysterical because most people don’t have their doors kicked in and suffer having themselves or their relatives dragged off into legal oblivion. The USSR and Maoist China did not drag away most people, either. The government, for its own support, needs most people to continue producing goods and services. The point is the principle on which the government will act, and that principle is now plainly that the rulers will act however they wish.
Congratulations, fellow Americans. Your beloved country has now become Argentina at its worst.
Yep. Global policing powers.
Do you see your freedom slipping away? Probably not, because it already has. After all, the Supreme Court says you have no rights.
