Obama Promises To Halt Global Temperatures, Also Locate Fountain of Youth:

He’ll be helped along with his plan by the Easter Bunny, while flying unicorns will deliver him to future climate change meetings. He would’ve promised world peace and the creation of a tonic for immortality but he didn’t want to seem too ambitious in his first six months.

G8 leaders claim historic breakthrough on new deal to tackle global warming:

President Obama and other leaders backed historic new targets for tackling global warming last night in an agreement designed to pave the way for a world deal in the autumn.

For the first time, America and the other seven richest economies agreed to the goal of keeping the world’s average temperature from rising more than 2C (3.6F).

They also agreed to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050 as they strove for a worldwide deal at Copenhagen in December.

Gordon Brown told reporters that the agreement was historic: “Today in Italy we have laid the foundations for a Copenhagen deal that is ambitious, fair and effective. The change from where we were two, three, four years ago is significant. The world has now agreed that the scientific evidence on climate change is compelling,” he said.

"Compelling" ... that's the best they can come up with?  Pathetic.

China, India reject climate change restrictions:

The old adage advises people not to interfere when their opponents seem intent on driving themselves to failure. The leaders of China and India appear to understand that well. Seeing that the West will adopt senseless restrictions on energy production and economic output, they have declined to jump off the same cliff themselves, throwing the G-8 conference into a turmoil that will be unfortunately brief ...

There's nothing anywhere that supports this stupid, er, "compelling" global-warming government hocus-pocus. "Cap & Trade," and all the other "environmental" legislation schemes, are about one thing only - POWER! It's a coup d'état of our American form of government.

If you want or need to sell your house, you'll first have to allow a Climate Czar lackey into your home for inspection.  If they decree your home not "eco-friendly," you'll have to spend the money (regardless of ability or cost) to comply with quota, or you will NOT be allowed to sell it.
