Singer songwriter Ash Soular wrote "Obamanation" after the election in 2008 "to express how I felt about this past election," saying the song
is also meant to symbolize a reality where people vote for politicians based upon charisma, instead of the content of their character.
It’s describing a situation where we are blinded by those whose main goal is to spend more of our tax money while ignoring our values.
It reminds us that the change THEY want may not be the change that YOU want. Let them know whose change matters.
Ash Soular is very talented. The video for "Obamanation" got over 4,000,000,000 hits on YouTube, and deservedly so, because it's a great song! But unfortunately, she also got harassed, including death threats, for posting her video.
People, no politician is worthy of such devotion that you'd issue death threats on another person, simply because they don't agree with you. That's what you expect from lunatics! How sad. What has our society become?
Here's the video.
