President Barack Obama is taking his family on vacation at the historic Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark, so they can hang out with the wealthy and well-connected Ruling Class Elite.

Obamas to begin sixth holiday of the year

Bill Burton, the deputy White House press secretary, said that the US president was “going to spend a little time recharging his batteries” at the Massachusetts island ahead of the November midterm elections.“There will be some hiking, some time at the beach, some time at the ice cream store - all the sort of things you do when you’re at Martha’s Vineyard. You enjoy the people and the good food.”

He is also expected to work on his swing at Mink Meadows golf club in Vineyard Haven and to work out every day, as he did when the First Family visited Martha’s Vineyard last year.

Obama arrives on Vineyard for vacation

After a brief stop at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, President Barack Obama this afternoon landed on Martha's Vineyard for the start of a 10-day vacation.

His wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia were traveling separately and not on Air Force One with Obama, according to a pool press report. Marine One helicopter touched down at Martha's Vineyard Airport at 2:36 p.m.

I guess I'm alone on this, but I say GOOD! GO ON VACATION!

The less a politician works, the better off the rest of us are. Lord knows he isn't going to do anything I want.

Take that vacation Mr. President. In fact, go ahead and take the next 2 years off! Paid. It'd be the cheapest, most productive thing the government has ever done.

You know what ... Congress, go ahead and take all the time off you want too! Paid.

You all suck. "We the People" would be much better off without you. Paying you to stay away is the cheapest alternative we've got.

What say you?

Golf can be very stressful. Especially the way Obama plays!

Where are the guys who actually run the country vacationing this year? He proves that he is an empty suit more and more each day!

It's good to be a bansksta - or at least be on their payroll for a front man position that only requires signing important bills.

the thing about golf is, after you hit the ball, you get to hit it again. The last time I played, I hit the ball 118 times.

Now that's what I call getting your money's worth! 8-O

Well at least he didn't go on vacation for a month after he received written warning about impending hijack plane attacks. Obama has done much-he deserves some time off and his vacations will not equal Bush's.

I couldn't care less if he's on vacation. I was just trying to make the point that we shouldn't want politicians to work so much, or at all for that matter. And Bush can stick it where the sun don't shine too.
