I know Meghan McCain is like, so 'tweeterific' and everything ... but the amount of media coverage she gets, just illustrates how in the bag for Big Government the State Run (formerly mainstream) media is!
They're dumbing down America! Here's proof:
A California woman filed a class-action lawsuit because her Cap'n Crunch "Crunchberries" were not real berries. She figured this out after purchasing "Crunchberries" for the past 4 years.
Oh, now I find out ... we're all bi-sexuals!
Has government become our master?
Governor Sarah Palin understands what's going on. Government wants to 'control the people':
Palin warned that the government is planning to "bail out debt ridden states" so it can "get in there and control the people."
"Since when can you get out of huge national debt by creating trillions of dollars of new debt?" Palin asked. "It all really is so backwards and skewed as to sound like absolute nonsense when some of this economic policy is explained."
"We need to be aware of the creation of a fearful population, and fearful lawmakers, being led to believe that big government is the answer, to bail out the private sector, because then government gets to get in there and control it," she said. "And mark my words, this is going to be next, I fear, bail out next debt-ridden states. Then government gets to get in there and control the people."
"Some in Washington would approach our economic woes in ways that absolutely defy Economics 101, and they fly in the face of principles, providing opportunity for industrious Americans to succeed or to fail on their own accord," she said. "Those principles it makes you wonder what the heck some in Washington are trying to accomplish here."
The economy is on very shaky ground. Hyperinflation has become unavoidable. Maybe Zimbabwe is Getting Carried Away on Hyperinflation:
But I don't think Faber has a complicated, subgame perfect scenario in mind. I think he has realized the corner into which Bernanke has painted himself, and concludes, "Zimbabwe!"
The ChiComs Laughed at Tim Geithner and his assurances about the dollar. Jim Rogers thinks:
It's a bear market rally. I was going to say I don't think S&P 500 will see new highs. But I have to quickly temper that by saying against the dollar because the S&P 500 could triple from here if they print enough money and the value of the US dollar collapses, then S&P could go to 50,000, Dow Jones can go to 1,00,000.
Which is one reason why I am not shorting stocks right now. Because there is a possibility of this sort of a thing. There is a possibility that stocks could go through unheard of levels, but would be in worthless currency.
The US dollar is terribly flawed right now. Something has to be done to the US dollar and something will be done just as something was done about the pound sterling. After World War II, people stopped using the pound sterling and converted to the dollar for many reasons. Something's going to be done about the dollar.
We are much closer to be doing something about it or will be forced to do something about it. India was forced to change in 1991 and the world will be forced to change the currency situation in the foreseeable future.

Currency Conundrum: Where Do You Hide?
Even Ben "the Magic Banker" Bernanke admits we're in trouble:
... even as we take steps to address the recession and threats to financial stability, maintaining the confidence of the financial markets requires that we, as a nation, begin planning now for the restoration of fiscal balance. Prompt attention to questions of fiscal sustainability is particularly critical because of the coming budgetary and economic challenges associated with the retirement of the baby-boom generation and continued increases in medical costs.
And just think ... 1 in 6 dollars of income in America is a government check or voucher.

We have to shut down the government. A great deal of it, anyway.
But that ain't gonna happen ... You'd be wise to download a copy of the US Army Survival Field Manual. You should know these 10 Things about Food Storage. Also, you may want to learn how to build an Affordable Wind Generator.
