Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-CA) has a house in Sacramento's affluent Curtis Park area that she has simply abandoned. Residents in the neighborhood, worried about their property values, have taken it upon themselves to clean the place up, finding a dead bird inside the house, and rats breeding in the backyard.

I wouldn't want anyone that irresponsible to represent me ... What I don't get is how she has the time to visit with Fidel Castro but doesn't have time for her own house. If you can't manage your own household, you probably shouldn't get involved in international affairs.
