One of the chief purposes of 2nd amendment was to protect us from government tyranny, yet it appears the courts hold just the opposite opinion. I recently wrote a post on my blog about a local man who was pulled over for an expired state inspection sticker. When the officer found out the man had a concealed carry permit, he pulled the man out of his car, placed him in handcuffs, put him in the back of a police car and questioned him. He was not breaking any laws (except for the expired inspection) and he had a concealed carry permit, but that didn't seem to matter to the police officer. It is sickening that our right to self defense is being slowly overturned by the government.
