Ron Paul is right!
Ron Paul is the only member of Congress who understands economics, as well as the only member genuinely fighting for "we the people."
Luckily ... he's getting more and more popular by the day!
Young people love Ron Paul! Dinosaurs hate him. Young people love freedom! Dinosaurs love the State.
Ron Paul Says Giving Fed More Power `Makes No Sense'
Go ahead, keep on supporting the same old dinosaurs who helped get us into this mess if you must ... Or grow-up, find your inner-Jefferson, and start fighting for freedom instead!
The Federal Reserve under attack: Poked by pitchforks
The new provision, pushed by Ron Paul, a conservative Texas Republican and Alan Grayson, a populist Florida Democrat, would eliminate the exemption. This could make the Fed less effective as a lender of last resort ...
You know what they say about assumptions ... That Ron Paul’s bill would "make the Fed less effective as a lender of last resort," assumes, without a shred of evidence (or intellectual reason), that the Fed is an "effective ... lender of last resort."
Where's the evidence of this?
The animus towards the Fed is striking, considering that its unprecedented market interventions almost certainly averted a financial meltdown last year and a far more severe recession. But many congressmen care less about the disaster avoided than the injustice of bailed-out bankers taking home record bonuses as unemployment keeps rising.
The Fed "averted a financial meltdown?" Really? What planet does this guy live on? The economy is in shambles!
And just what, exactly, is wrong with people being concerned about "the injustice of bailed-out bankers?" Are "we the people" supposed to just roll-over and take it for the benefit of our "leaders?"
The Fed is now guilty by association, seen as too close to banks, too quick to bail them out and too generous and secretive when it does so. The Fed’s structure supplies fodder for this critique.
Please sir, put down the crack-pipe. The Federal Reserve IS the criminal enterprise!
The History of the Federal Reserve.
Ben Bernanke, the Fed chairman, has so far been personally spared the vitriol ... Tim Geithner, the treasury secretary, has been less fortunate ... One of America’s great strengths, so Mr Geithner dryly remarked, is that anyone can criticise his decisions with the benefit of hindsight.
Um, buddy, Tim "I can't figure out how to pay my taxes" Geithner is a crook! And so is Bernanke! Your faith in these people is completely unwarranted. In fact, it's childish.
For how much longer will Americans put up with this crap? Do you really "believe" in omnipotent central planners? If so, based on what evidence? Because there is none!
The Federal Reserve is a criminal enterprise.
It's time to End the Fed!
