The Left really seems up in arms over the idea of "God's will". In the Lord's Prayer, as Christians we also say "thy will be done".  These are two ways of saying the same thing.

To put these statements into perspective, it's simply saying ... "God this is what I want.  It is what I believe best.  If you agree with me, please help.  If you disagree, and things don't go according to my personal view, I accept this. It is your will, not mine, that matters."

There are things in life that as people, no matter how hard we try, we simply can't control.  We do our best - using our own knowledge and skills - but ultimately understand that what is, is.  As humans we may be wrong, but we have faith that God is right.

Stating God's will is a surrender of self (personal will) to God, not a statement of some kind of special knowledge. It is an act of humility, not righteousness.

In the following two videos, Gov. Sarah Palin answers Charlie Gibson about God's will, and her readiness to be Vice President of the United States.

In the first video Gibson grilled her about experience. He accused her of hubris. He was openly scornful of her.

Why hasn't Obama had to endure that kind of questioning? His resume is thinner than hers!

Gibson decided it was his job to take her down. In the second video Gibson outright lied about what she said in her "old church."

This was the latest in a string of stink bombs hurled at her by Big Media. So far she has prevailed because the public has been discerning.
