Go Sarah, Go!

Sarah Palin's PAC has just jumped into the Kentucky race to support Republican Senate candidate Rand Paul!

Palin for Paul

UPDATE 4:45 PM: Looks like the answer to this question is yes -- Sarah Palin has endorsed Rand Paul in the Kentucky Senate GOP primary. Her spokeswoman just sent over this statement from the former Alaska governor: "I'm proud to support great grassroots candidates like Dr. Paul. While there are issues we disagree on, he and I are both in agreement that it's time to shake up the status quo in Washington and stand up for common sense ideas."

You Betcha: Palin Endorses Rand Paul in Bitter Kentucky GOP Senate Primary

Maybe she did this just to make Allahpundit’s head explode:

National political icon and conservative leader Sarah Palin has endorsed Dr. Rand Paul in his bid for United States Senate from Kentucky. The Paul campaign has received a generous donation from Governor Palin’s PAC.

Palinistas + Paulistas = Wow. The Kentucky primary is extremely bitter (53 comments on that thread) and the last thing I expect was for Palin to get herself involved in that feud.

FreedomWorks Backs Rand Paul

FreedomWorks, the conservative group that has aligned itself more closely with the Tea Party movement than any other preexisting conservative organization, released its list of 2010 target Senate races and districts today.

The group is looking to organize ground-level activism in the Senate races in Florida and Nevada (supporting Marco Rubio and opposing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid), and it's backing Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania and Rand Paul in Kentucky.

Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses Rand Paul

It’s still early to be thinking about 2010 elections, but the Republican Liberty Caucus National Board has approved several endorsements for 2010 already.

Liberty fans across the country will be pleased to note that the RLC endorsed Rand Paul in his bid to become U.S. Senator in Kentucky, and Peter Schiff in his bid to represent Connecticut in the Senate.

I'll be checking out Dr. Paul's site later. The cool thing is, folks are being promoted outside of the RNC, or other traditional routes. Did ya hear that Mr. Steele? We don't need you, the RNC, or even the party.

Yeah, I really like that too!

Rand Paul's a good man, but of course you know I endorse his father too!

Check out the Republican Liberty Caucus! They're endorsing some terrific candidates.
