Ah, but that isn’t what this is about. This is all about power. And I agree about the media too. It’s like living in a virtual 1984 or something. You just want to wake-up and get out of the matrix.

But, raise their taxes during a recession, and you knock quite a few of them off-right into government assistance that they will, of course, not want to lose.

Right. By design.

That’s why I’m sick and tired of this “unintended consequences” b.s. I’m not talking constituents, for the most part they do have good intentions. But the bunch in Washington and in our state capitals, it’s time “we the people” start calling out the bad apples by name.

I've been waiting for this for the last few months. Honestly, I thought it wouldn't be until the end of the year, but these are trial balloons being sent up now. The left hates the middle class. The greenies hate the middle class. People that can "make it" on their own are a problem for the left-they have no use for big government!
