    social security should be eliminated... it was a good idea back in the day but is a waste and drain in todays world. The people should be allowed to invest their own money for retirement. A bill should be introduced that says something to the effect that any persons born on or after Jan 1 1990 (for example) is excluded from paying into social security. those people would then be able to fund their own retirement funds and would eventually phase out the social security program completely

    You're right! People should be able to fund their own retirements. Especially considering social security is funded identically to a ponzi scheme!

    I wonder how many members of Congress from 1934 are still alive to be indicted for starting a Ponzi scheme?
