The Delaware DOT has declared War on Basketball Hoops. Or perhaps they're simply engaged in kinetic basketball hoop action or something ...

Watch the following video to witness a petty government tyrant in action.

She threatens the couple with arrest for "disorderly conduct" (what a petty tyrant calls protecting your own private property), tells a bald-faced lie, then points her greedy finger at the property owner and demands he go inside his house. Notice too, that an armed union cop is there to back her up, while other state union goons happily follow her edict and steal the McCafferty's basketball hoop.

As Tim Carney says, "You might be a fascist ... If you don't dislike government more after watching this video."

At all levels, American government has become petty, corrupt, and abusive. Lawless. How any American can support our government is beyond my comprehension. They certainly hate us.

When H.L. Mencken said that "Every decent man is ashamed of the government he lives under," he was right, because honorable people don't put up with this crap. That most Americans are willing to put up with this crap these days, as they cheer for and praise the "leadership" of their abusers, only goes to show how far our society has digressed since the Revolution.

Disorderly Property Ownership

This onslaught of tyranny and control freakism is not confined only to the Feds, or even the states. No sooner did I write an update on the War on Lawn Darts when I was alerted to the War on Basketball Hoops.

In Claymont, Delaware, a team of jack-booted thugs in DOT trucks conducted patrols of property destruction in a neighborhood by driving through the area and scooping up basketball hoops and throwing them into the back of a dump truck to be hauled away to the landfill ...

Watch this YouTube of a local city soldier telling a man that his wife would be arrested for disorderly conduct if she climbed back up the pole to prevent them from taking it out. You’ll note that the State Police were present in order to help bring this basketball hoop crime ring under control ... two residents are told to get off their own property and get back in the house while the police oversee the wrecking and taking of a pole after they were told they could keep it as long as it was removed. Rampant destruction for the sake of power and control.

Delaware Town Ruins Basketball for Kids: Where's Michelle Obama Now?

John and Melissa McCafferty are parents and residents of Radnor Green, Delaware, a quiet suburban neighborhood. In their front yard was a basketball pole and hoop that had been there for 60 years.

Last fall the McCaffertys received a letter from DelDOT (Delaware Department of Transportation) informing them that the placement of the pole was in violation of state law by being within seven feet of the public street ... They were working with DE State Rep. Bryon Short to contest the removal of the pole ...

Before the matter was resolved, a truck came rambling through the neighborhood yanking poles out of yards.

Law enforcement officers had to be brought in to enforce the removal under threat of arrest. John McCafferty asked if they could keep their pole after it was removed. He was clearly told that he had the option of having the pole laid in his driveway after the removal. The pole was ripped out, and as the workers loaded it into their truck, John protested.

The woman that seemed to be in charge of the law enforcement contingent said, "They'll lay it in your driveway," after John asked to keep his poll. When they start to haul it away, he said, "That pole's staying, please."

"No, all of them are gone," the woman responded.

"You didn’t say that, you said I could keep my pole!"

She did say that. The whole exchange is on video. Law enforcement lied to a private citizen about his rights. But wait! There’s more. She then tells the McCaffertys (with a pointed finger, as if she’s speaking to a belligerent toddler) that they need to go inside their house and not taunt the DelDOT workers. You know, because construction workers might get their feelings hurt or something.

This is government run amuck. Removing private property from private citizens and denying them their first amendment right to free speech, in their own front yards.

A War on Basketball ... Is there anything the government isn't at war against?

I'm not sure why she was even talking to that bimbo. Their entire conversation should have been calmly with the State Patrol Officers. Every time she threatened arrest or charges they should have immediately forced the troopers involvement. Then they should have copies of the troopers oaths (2 minutes on the internet) available and read it to them over and over. They should have demanded to see an original copy of the law, not some hearsay description by some bimbo. They should have notified her that she was being placed under arrest for destruction of property, and then ordered the troopers to arrest her. Now they should put a lien on her personal property for 10 times the amount of replacing the poll in the ground exactly how it was. I'm sure you all are laughing at this, that's because you are slaves and don't believe master can be challenged. Master is a fraudulent liar and presumes you will believe him.
And their neighbors should all go to hell for not gathering 100 people together to scare the crap out of that whore.
