I am almost to the point where I wish the Obama administration would stop at turning us into a Socialist country. The government wants to control every aspect of our lives.
The Democrats want the Big 3 to build cars they want people to buy and not the consumers. They want to tax our food so we don't too much; our gas so we drive too much; our alcohol so we don't drink too much and every other thing so they can control what we do.
Obama is taking away tax deductions for charitable donations and raising taxes so he can dictate which programs are worthy of OUR money. That is a direct hit against religion.
I guess I'm a kook as well. I like freedom. I want to decide what car I can buy; how high I can set my thermostat; which groups get my money; not pay for abortions around the world; keep the government out of my wallet...etc.
I guess people who want conrol of heir lives are kookie.
It's very sad because Obama is getting a free pass in the media.
It's nuts dude. Nuts!
I just read McCain's post yesterday and I have to say that was one of the most well done posts on conservative thinking I have read in awhile. However, this post on the GOP ain't too shabby either. Keep up the great work CL.
