The following video is certainly out of Bizarro Land. That's all I'm sayin' ... It does brew up a little SKEPTICISM though.
It's not a sensational video or anything either ... just a little creepy.
OK ... Now you don't need to start building (or go buy) the latest and greatest tin-foil hat technology ever! You don't need to get all Dungeons and Dragons and everything either ... you know, with the Illuminati, Knights Templar, Masons and what not ... while carefully avoiding black helicopters of course.
Do you remember what Thomas Jefferson said?
In questions of power then let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.
And what did our first president and Revolutionary War Hero, George Washington tell us was the reason to bind down man by the chains of the Constitution?
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
I decided to take a quick peek into who exactly this "World Federal Association" is ...
Some Quick Items of Interest:
The above video must have been shot some time in late 1999. In 2004, the "World Federalist Association" changed their name to "Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS)."
Here's some info on Walter Cronkite thanks to Discover the Networks:
In an October 1999 awards speech at the United Nations, Cronkite said that "half a century ago" he had been offered "a job as spokesman and Washington lobbyist for the World Federalist organization" that advocates a one-world government. "I chose instead to continue in the world of journalism," Cronkite continued. "For many years, I did my best to report on the issues of the day in as objective a manner as possible. When I had my own strong opinions, as I often did, I tried not to communicate them to my audience. Now, however, my circumstances are different. I am in a position to speak my mind. And that is what I propose to do."
"[W]e must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government," added Cronkite. "... We must change the basic structure of our global community ... to a new system governed by a democratic UN federation. ... Today the notion of unlimited national sovereignty means international anarchy. We must replace the anarchic law of force with a civilized force of law." Cronkite specifically called for ratification of the "Treaty for a Permanent International Criminal Court" that would allow Americans to be convicted of actions deemed crimes by judges from nations such as Communist Cuba and Communist China. He also called for a "revision of the [U.S. power of] Veto in the Security Council" and cited international billionaire financier George Soros as one of the best thinkers on this topic.

On November 30, 1999, WorldNetDaily reported on the event featured in the above video:
And, somehow, Walter Cronkite did this at the United Nations last month in near total media blackout.
Let us now shed some light on this never-ending, elitist utopian pipedream for a one-world government that will ensure global peace forever and ever.
On Oct. 19, Cronkite accepted the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award from the World Federalists Association at the United Nations in New York.
He told those assembled, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, that, as a newsman for CBS, he once had to keep his views on such matters to himself. Today, as a private citizen, he is speaking out.
The first step toward achieving a one-world government, he said, is to strengthen the United Nations.
"It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace," he said. "To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order."
He added that the American colonists did just that back in 1776.
Not true. A little history lesson is in order for Mr. Cronkite. In fact, the American colonial leaders fought for independence from foreign domination, allegiances and entanglements. Remember all those "You Are There" historical segments you did way back when, Walter?
Apparently not.
Strange things are afoot at the Circle K. I'm just sayin' ...
