You know ... I gotta admit, I've been a little crabby ... call it Blogger Derangement Syndrome if you need a name ... too many topics to cover, too many code mysteries ... and of course, that damn Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy (we'll get into that another time).

Thank you Sara Womack! By putting a smile back on my face, you just made my day!

Alright ... on with more of the stuff I've found.

More good news!

Are you feeling the economic pinch of the Great Bailout of '08?

Well, don't you worry ... every member of Congress ... is getting $93,000 (yes, more than your crappy "job" pays) in PETTY CASH!

I second Mike's idea:

Every member of the GOP rejects this cash and returns it to the treasury. Make the Democrats own this disgusting theft. Everyday in the media beat the drum over this outrage until the Democrats back down and drop the proposal. This is a win-win situation, either the proposal is blocked and we the taxpayers are not robbed blind or the Democrats are exposed as the thieving bastards they are.

If a member of the GOP caucus accepts the money anyway they are booted out and made to caucus as an independent. If the party doesn't man up and kick out members that choose to participate in this fraud then Republican voters in primaries need to target their representatives that reveal themselves to be criminals.

And people wonder why I loathe politicians ... funny thing is, I wonder why anyone respects them.  To quote the Gipper:

It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.

In another great post from Save the GOP, we get visual representation of GOP "bi-partisanship" in the Senate.  Quoting Mike again:

... there were good reasons to vote against the majority in all seven cases, the fact that only two members of the entire caucus had the stones to do so is a sad testament to the state of the GOP.

So the moral of the story is the GOP can vote in an extremely bi-partisan way and it won't matter ... Jim DeMint is no more hated by the MSM and the left than Lamar Alexander who has cooperated a great deal so far with the Obama administration.

If the GOP and Judd Gregg think they can mitigate the fact that they are Republicans by supporting Obama some of the time they are fools.

Personally, I no longer believe in the "making the media happy" theory.  I think folks in the GOP like Judd Gregg are straight-up-power-hungry socialists - just like the Democrats.

Our future generations will be poor:

In only just a handful of days in office, President Barack Obama has already outspent President Bush!

At least the Looney-Leftist "Progressives" are helping out Republicans! At least that's the way I see it.  Any politician that has the backbone to vote against this financial rape and pillage of future generations will (and deserves to) win in landslides!

Dear MoveOn member,

... right now, the stimulus doesn't have the votes to pass. Republicans and conservative Democrats are teaming up to strip out the good stuff-college loan assistance, health research, tax cuts for poor folks, and more-in favor of more tax cuts for corporations. If they don't get their way, they'll block the plan.

Last week, not a single Republican in the House voted for Obama's plan-they didn't think voters would ever hold them accountable. That's why we're asking folks to pledge now to help run ads after the vote letting the public know where key senators-both Republican and Democrat-came down on the bill. We need to get started now, so politicians and the media know their constituents are paying attention.
