Haven't been writing, but I've certainly been reading. Here's a few items that have caught my attention.
The "gay marriage" thing has really become a fiasco. The California courts tried to override the will of the people, and now the Iowa courts have done the same thing! So much for government OF the people ...
Paul Ibrahim wrote a great article on this today - The Conservative Solution: Get Government Out of All Marriage!
All Americans should be curious about the strange case of Barack Obama's birth certificate. NMATV has put together an excellent video on this subject - Barack Obama vs. The Law.
Do you remember this ad? It's called "Child's Pay," and was put out in 2004 as an attack on President George W. Bush. Well ... RedState put together this terrific update, called "Child's Pay 2."
The Humble Libertarian put together a great list everyone should bookmark - The Top 100 Libertarian Blogs and Websites!
Barry Goldwater was a brilliant man. With all the in-fighting within the Republican ranks these days, this quote by Goldwater says it all!
Per usual ... the real "leaders" of the Republican Party, or better said ... the Genuine Conservatives in the party continue to get ignored, making more room for those wonderful mavericky moderates. But conservatives do exist in the party.
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, from my home state of Michigan, is not only the real deal, but he's funny! I love his straight-faced, dry delivery. Take the time to watch these two videos of McCotter, you'll be glad you did!
Speaking of this, check out my post on Michigan Blogger about McCotter! When he voted against the original TARP, he explained why in detail, calling on the wisdom and guidance of our Founders. Plus, there's a video of him absolutely ripping Congress over their AIG bonus charade!
The world is safe once again ... The State Stops Another Egregious Violation of "Intellectual Property!" It's hard to believe someone would do this ... but this woman thief found that playing the sounds of Classic FM helped her horses relax, so she'd turn on the radio for them. Not anymore!
Being that she employs more than 2 people at her stables, playing the radio constitutes a "performance." So she can apply and PAY for a license, otherwise ... no more music for the horses!
IP is waaayyy out of control!
