Even though almost all my life has been spent living and working in the greater Flint area and in Flint itself, I too like Detroit. Tigers games, Redwing games, the annual North American Auto Show, the boat races on the river, the Detroit Zoo, etc. I even got to go to the last Detroit Grand Prix and watched the Indy cars and the American LeMans race the day before (sad that those are gone).
Only those who keep that faith going can make a difference. I hope things turn around for Detroit, but I also fear the rest of the USA will follow suit.
I hope nothing but the best for Detroit too, but it'll only get worse until the politics change.
