    I know this is an older article, but I wanted to leave a comment, regardless. ACORN is a very sore subject for me. I have done a lot of research on them and as far as I can tell, their actions played a large role in the crash of our housing market. They were given free reign by the Community Reinvestment Act and they used that freedom to bully bankers and mortgage companies into making loans that were bad business. I don't trust them, not even a little bit.
