It's a song with a lot to say too. A message of war.
It doesn't matter if you're "pro-war" or "anti-war" or whatever ... Looking war square in the eye is essential.
Generals gathered in their masses

How many innocent people have lost their lives over the last 8 years of war? That's not a trick question either, I really don't know. Sad. It's not even considered "news."
The number of innocent people who lost their lives in Iraq is anywhere from 93,793 on up.
How many of our own died because of this war? 4,356 just in Iraq alone. Plus another 31,545 American brothers and sisters wounded.
Putting it into perspective ... you realize that's mass slaughter.
Oh, I get the very real threat of radical Islam. It just doesn't change any of the facts. The cost of war isn't just financial.
The cost of war is human life.
